For some reason I cannot post replies to the AF forums and I can't figure out why, even after reading all the FAQs. I did validate my account using the link emailed to me. Every time I try to post something and click the reply button I end up on a screen with an advertisement on it and all the links on the side. When I tried to update my "about me" page it said that I wasn't in the right group to do so. *sigh* I'm such a dummy when it comes to online stuff. Would one of you lovely ladies please hold my hand and show me what to do, please??? |

Well, you won't be able to edit your "about me" until you have at least 10 posts and are validated to become a "newbie" instead of a "n00b." As for the reply issue, sounds like a computer problem to me. Maybe try quick reply? I don't remember if they have that on AF.... |

Ok, thanks. I'll see if I can post another way. Hopefully I can get something to post so that I can move beyond n00b status. Update - apparently it was something with the computer I was using. When I used my home computer I realized some buttons had been covered up by advertisements or something and when I thought I was clicking the "post reply" button I was really clicking the "close reply" button, erego - no post. I have remedied the situation and hope to be moving up shortly. Thanks for the input, I appreciate it. Edited by rayneweather, Aug 21 2009, 11:09 PM.
