Eh, still so worth it!! Everyone I know knows that I'm obsessed with everything Asian and especially Taiwan, so they're all very excited and happy for me. I even had to talk to my choir director because I have to miss a festival for this trip, and she just got started talking to me about it. I love having supportive people around me! XP I was having fun today pronouncing words in that Chinese daily calendar for my mom. She's kind of hopeless when it comes to it (or maybe it was just the Vicadin she took...), but I find that watching all those dramas have really done a lot of good! I am beyond excited to start classes later this month, gosh =DDD I have determined that to speak Chinese is to sing and to write is to make art. That's probably why I love it so much; those are two of my favorite things. (Awfully poetic, as well )Hopefully this trip will give me renewed vigor to learn the language and everything I can about the country in the hopes that I will move there some day! |
