[27.1.09]Wu Zun loves eating, has blessed feeling when cooking Note: Please credit jastan87 of CEFC for translation of article and do not edit any parts of this article. Please quote this translated article (including this note) in its entirety. Thank you for your co-operation. ![]() Wu Zun is famous for loving to eat, wherever he goes he will take photos with food. Wu Zun loves to eat delicious food, he is also good with his cooking skills, last year he earned NT$55,000,000, but when he cooks, NT$500 is enough to cook a meal, he is born with good skills, although he never learnt how to cook but he only need to taste every dish once and without any recipe he would still be able to prepare a table of nice food! Starts cooking at 12 years old, brought out sweet and sour meat Fahrenheit is famous all over the world, Wu Zun had went to many countries, Asia, China, Japan, Korea, Philippines, etc, eating everywhere he went but he loves to eat the food he cooks the most! Wu Zun is the youngest in the family, always sticking to his mum, when he was young whenever his mum was cooking in the kitchen, little Wu Zun would follow by her side and follow what she was doing, plus his uncle is a chef, hence he knew how to cook when he was 12 years old, the first dish he did was ‘sweet and sour meat’, and it was a success since his first try. Usually he is busy with work, during his free time Wu Zun would cook a table of food at his place, Korean barbequed meat, Hainanese chicken rice, cabbage oyster soup, he could prepare a table of food in no time, Wu Zun said that he do not need to look at the recipe when he cooked, the amount of ingredients and seasoning is based on feelings, instantly it would be delicious! Because he grew up in Brunei, Wu Zun especially love Asians food, when promoting in Asia he would self-order Hainanese chicken rick for breakfast, eat satay until his stomach can’t take it. Refuse to eat intestines and pork belly Although Wu Zun loves to eat and will eat wherever he goes but he won’t eat duck blood, pig blood and intestines, especially chicken’s butt let him have the feeling of ‘sucking the butt’, he will move back when he sees roadsides stall selling chicken butt, oily fatty meat also makes him scared, in future when if he wants to eat pork belly, can only ask his wife to help eat the fatty meat. translated by : jastan87 of CEFC credits : CEFC and libertytimes original source : http://www.libertytimes.com.tw/2009/new/ja...today-show7.htm source: asianfanatics http://asianfanatics.net/forum/Wu-Zun-loves-eating-has-blessed-feeling-when-cooking-talk622648.html |

i love to cook! but im so used to cooking for at least 6 people while i was in the Philippines.. but since its just me.. and my parents here.. i don't cook that much anymore.. i remember one time i cooked something from scratch just by imagining how my grandma cooked it and the possible ingredients based on what i can remember.. and i don't measure anything.. and i don't taste it as well.. when i'm cooking if it smells how its supposed to smell then i know i had it right.. its weird but that's how i do it.. i guess i have to be inspired in order to cook.. *suddenly, i miss Philippines.. *

Aww... Well, I think that's an incredible talent to have. I'm always so scared I'm going to screw it up that I don't allow myself to try anything different. Of course, I haven't cooked much, either ^^; |
