Fahrenheit fans make the best friends <3 Posts: 3,323 Group: Admins Member #2 Joined: Jul 28, 2008	Upon request, I shall post my artwork here! Paintings first, then I'll post some drawings later (the paintings are most recent 'cause of my painting class. All the drawings were done from a couple of years ago to probably about a half a year ago). Eventually I'll get up some photographs, too, which'll be from varying times (that's my favorite, by the way ) My very first venture into the wonderful world of acrylics! =o I'm kinda proud of this one 'cause I didn't use any reference photos; it's all from my head! xP My second acrylic painting, the assignment being to paint something in an artist's style. I chose one of my favorites, the surrealist Rene Magritte. Done in about a half hour for our Christmas cards this year. This was my gift to my grandmother for Christmas. It's her and her husband based off a picture that I had also taken. In watercolor, the assignment being to paint the Grand Canyon. I chose to do a mix of eastern and western styles of art which everyone seemed to understand but the teacher... (He said not to demarcate depth by the use of lines... Silly xP) My latest one. The assignment was anything, so I decided to attempt portraiture for the first time... Some parts I'm happy with, like the lower hand, but others I'm really not, like the upper hand since that part was cut of in the photograph and I had a very limited amount of time to do it ^^; (The colors look /completely/ different in real life, by the way...) This one is my favorite XD It was actually just an exercise when we started watercolor, but I really really like it. Edited by Kejli, Jan 22 2009, 04:04 PM.

I'll be sure to get the other things up soon ^^ I think I already posted some of my photography here...? I really am just starting out, though. Got myself some acrylics and more canvas, and hopefully I'll have more for you guys even though painting class is over ^^
