Posts: 1,854 Group: Admins Member #164 Joined: Oct 25, 2008	ok guys you need to help me out on this one.. found this vid, and listened to the song, its Fahrenheit's: Ni Ying Gai Bei Zhen Xi.. but just on the first few notes the song sounded SO familiar to me!! its the same tune as this song called ANOTHER USED TO BE by Joe, which happens to be one of my favorite songs.. i can't even let myself finish listening to fahrenheit's song, the moment i heard the first tune.. Another used to be: just please liste to both of the songs.. and since i don't have FRH's album, i dont know if it was even mentioned there.. the tune is really the same.. but the lyrics are different.. help me out on this one please.. i have thoughts running through my mind right now.. i really do hope they have the rights for the music..

Thanks for finding it, 'cause that was really bugging me xP For something this familiar, it's pretty much guaranteed that they have the rights to it. I'm just thinking they were given permission to change the lyrics around. I can't think of any specific examples right now, but I know a few other songs where they've done this, taking the melody and putting different lyrics to it. With Fahrenheit being such a big-name band, the company would never take this big of a risk, and I would find it hard to believe they would miss it.

Posts: 1,854 Group: Admins Member #164 Joined: Oct 25, 2008	thank goodness for making me feel good! seriously, you can't imagine how i reacted when i heard it.. the first tune! i know that song by heart.. i was hoping and praying that you'll be online to listen to it as well!!! thanks!! i was freaking out.. i had like so many "what-ifs" on my mind.. it sounds crazy, but i mean i don't want them being accused of something later on.. thanks for making me feel better...

XD Oh and yes they definitely have the rights to the songs they cover. HIM is an International music company with a big reputation so they have to do things legally! Oh and they credit the original track in the lyrics book too. ^^

They have SHE, JerryC, Jade Liu, Power Station (rock band with two guys), Xing Guang Bang (pop group), Yoga Lin, Judy Chou (guy), a guy with English name Peter, Tank, Stanley Hsu, and a BOYBAND of four guys who think they own the world (oh wait...THEY DO!! YAY FAHRENHEIT!)
