All right, so I just finished this drama... This first thing I have to say is, what kind of an ending was that?! I feel so bad for W =( I guess it was alright, and it was good it ended in a tie. I was fully predicting a win for Pi Li, so it's good that what I thought was going to happen didn't. Chun's part in this was also pretty funny/weird, but I thought it was good because you couldn't decide if he was the villain or a good guy. He was in the background, helping them and helping them through the guise of being mean, but in the end he ended up being their biggest obstacle. (I also found it hard not to root for him in the last match ) It was so exciting whenever he came on screen earlier in the drama, though, 'cause he had a great mysterious part that was just downright amazing =D And let me just say.... Chun + basketball = recipe for hotness He had a cute little villain glare goin' there, too.I also really liked how Jie Er was Qui Kui. It made her become a very strong and admirable character from a weak and somewhat pathetic one, just as the girl who's the object of the main character's affections. It was also good how they revealed it gradually, just showing that they were a girl, then showing the eyes more clearly so you could guess it was Jie Er before completely revealing it. I felt proud for figuring it out xP This was also my first exposure to Jerry Yan and Show (Alan) Luo, both of whom I was really impressed with. There were times when Show's over-the-top acting didn't annoy me so much 'cause he's just too darn loveable =3 I also found that I really like his music... ^^ And on that note (bu dum chhh) I'd like the mention that the OST is surprisingly good, considering I don't like hip hop at all... The magic of Show ![]() The only thing I really didn't like was how fake a lot of the actual basketball itself was, like the flying through the air, obviously on wires... But then again, what do you really expect? It couldn't've been too high-budget, and I admit that the director was a little out there xP I think he was going for that effect for some reason... Some unknown reason. Oh, and not to sound creepy or anything, but that Coco Jiang is pretty darn good-looking. Making me jealous xP I just think she needs to get better at acting like she has asthma. So who else has seen this drama and would like to discuss? |

Oh no! That's crazy (the currency exchange thing). So do you have to pay more for it now, or was it already paid for? Yeah, Show's a great one You remember that clip of him imitating the fan meeting Jiro, posted in the translation request board? That was the first time I was introduced to Show but didn't really care since I didn't know him at all. I went back and watched it again and thought it was like 10x funnier, just because it's Show =D He has definitely a different kind of cute from the FLH boys.

i find the ending weird too.. but isn't that what's common to most of taiwanese drama?! i loved it because its Chun and Jerry Yan in one drama! and i was a Jerry fanatic first before Chun.. and of course Jerry's acting is still superb.. lately he's been doing such heavy dramas so it was sort of refreshing to see him making some comedic scenes.. i love Show on this one too.. he's really funny and a good actor.. and Chun... he could just stand there and not even say a single line and i'm still gonna be screaming my heart out... and yeah i agree W is hot!! who coaches a basketball team in shorts and high heels?!? i love Hot Shot for three reasons: for Jerry being a really good dramatic actor.. for Show's crazy comedic antics and for Wu Chun for just being Chun.... hehehe

What a coincidence, 'cause I did that every time he came on screen, whether he said anything or not XD Although I've been watching it at night, so it was more like exciting hopping
