 I wanna talk about pokemon. Its popular, and I have my favorites, so yeah.  Besides my favorite team (Any team containing a Scyther), I wanted to know if anyone played the trading card game. I'm trying to get the money to build a deck, maybe even start a Pokemon Gym at the local shop. Also, once I can afford it, I was thinking of getting a Heart Gold or Soul Silver version. Silver and Gold were way better than anything Red or Green could provide, and the last one I got (Fire Red) was used, so it was alright. I did manage to get Pearl, so I hope SS or HG will use the DS slot again. I know BB has SS, cause she told me.  So does anyone else like teh pokemanz?That is all.  PS- COOL EMOTES. MORE PLEASE

SHE!? SHE!? SHE!?  I iz a he, i honor teh family jewels!  That said, pokemanz o 3o ~ I gave up on TCG a long time ago after seeing how much money I had to invest to keep my deck up-to-date and competitive with newer cards, and how much I had to keep active in the community to learn strategies and exploits to keep a competitive hand. I player for the lulz for a bit but now most of my TCG friends moved to Magic: The Gathering and so I did, then I stopped with Magic for the same reasons, while they didn't. SoulSilver is awesome, but no DS's GBA slot this time, Dintendo tried to get rid of the reliance over the GBA slot since the DSi doesn't have it. This time to get pokemon from previous versions, you need to trade'em by Nintendo WFC, or after you beat elite four, you can get starters from the professors. The radio plays Hoenn music on Wednesdays and Sinnoh music on Thursdays, so you have the increased chance of walking on the grass and finding foreign pokemon too, theres also foreign bug catching pokemon contests twice per week, foreign pokemon on safari zone and occasional pokemon swarms that give you the opportunity to catch'em. I'm waiting for pokemon black & white it seems it'll be so much win!Ps. CHARIZARD FTW! |

Want! Burn my Bugs? LOLOLOLOL Burn water, then we'll see who's top boss.  When Scyther tanks multiple Flamethrowers, you cannot deny that's one badass Scyther. Besides, there aren't that many other cool bug pokemon. I like the dragons myself, but Zangoose is also pretty interesting. GO Mongoose Pokemon! And then there's Sandslash who's neat, but he needs better moves, and Gallade too, and he has the good move-set too. All of the eevees are really strong, but I'm waiting for a really good water pokemon and electric pokemon to go with my Scyther. I haven't found out which ones would be the best yet. so, i herd u liek mudkipz?  Jokes aside, Mudkip is a good water pokemon, it's evolutions doubling with ground is interesting. I also like Piplup's and Poliwag's evolution line. And of course, Marril (once know as Pikablu... i always name my Marril as Pikablu o 3o~) and Squirtle o 3o~.  About electric pokémon, I particullary like shinx because it gets some good electric and dark moves as it evolves. But I like Mareep too. |

I've noticed i'm staying towards the physical guys, so if i ever hit a physical def, like a rock or steel type, i'd have some slowdown or trouble. so far my team looks like this. Scyther Technician (Bug bite, Aerial Ace, ???, ???) Scizor ( X-Scissor, Steel Wing, ???, ???) Gallade (Leaf Blade, Brick Break, Zen Headbut, ???) Dragonite (Aqua Tail, Earthquake, Dragon Claw, ??? [Blizard or Rock Slide]) ??? ??? I'm trying to think of what i'm weak against and what would be good. So far, It looks like i'm weak to fire, but Aqua Tail on Dragonite should take care of it. Dragonite's weak vs Ice and Dragon attacks mostly, but some Rock. Dragon's anti-dragon, so that's nice. So is Ice, but I think I should have a speciail attack Sweeper with high specail and high speed. Maybe Alakazam, Gengar, or Gardevoir. I can definately see a powered up combo sweeper giving me loads of trouble though.
