Why yes, I do like snickerdoodles.

Well, I love dining out a lot, and I live in New York City--Ruler of all that is good in food. We have something like 25,000 restaurants. =D And thus, this review...thing...came into being. I've been meaning to do it for a while now, but never really got to it. The first restuarant: Shake Shack The Shake Shack is a quaint little hut in Madison Square Park, Manhattan (With another location in the upper west side). It has two lines, one for hot food, and the other only for cold stuff. (Like shakes, and concretes, which I'll get into later.) Next to the hut is about 50 tables and chairs, which are really, really uncomfortable, and squirrels keep trying to steal your food. T_T My mom waited in line, while I, the lazy slob, went to lounge in one of the lawn chairs. Here's a piece of advice: If you ever go to the shake shack, planning to run in and out, don't. The line is, on average, 45 minutes long. I am completely serious. After around 30 minutes, we got this neat little buzzer thing that would alert us when our meal was ready. About 3 minutes later, it buzzed. Props to Shake Shack for making the food fast! Good quality fast food, I think my heart has stopped. I got a cheeseburger with fries and a "Natural History" Concrete. Concretes are these frozen custard drinks--Kind of like a blend between soft serve and regular ice cream. It was vanilla with fudge caramel sauce, chocolate crunchies, and some other things I can't remember. In short, it is a heart attack waiting to happen. I wasn't all that crazy about it, but my parents loved it. However, the cheeseburgers and the fries--Let me say NOM NOM NOM. I took a bite of the cheeseburger, and it was delicious. A nice, good-quality burger inside a warm, lightly-toasted bun with american cheese and crisp lettuce. (I do not like tomatos, so none of them in my burger. Ick.) It was extremely juicy, and bursted with flavor. They use some kind of seasoning my tongue cannot describe, but my taste buds screamed "EAT! EATEATEATEATEAT!" The french fries were tasty, too, but the potato tasted a little odd--Probably because I'm so used to eating Mcdonalds and Wendy's fries. Not being able to fully enjoy the french fries made me a sad Gabby. As we prepared to leave, I thought to myself, content and a little queasy, that I would definitely come back. Which I wound up doing. Twice. All in all, the food is tasty, and I reccomend the place if you don't mind long lines. |

And here I am wishing I lived back in NY again. Damn it... Either way though, nicely put...you could give Jeff a run for his money. The wait though is crazy...45 minutes is more than what you'll wait in some restaurants. Eh, what can you do though? Food sounds yummeh. |

Does being the only sane one make me the insane one, in a sort of way? Though my eyes could see, I was still a blind man; Though my mind could think, I still was a madman... "Yes there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run...there's still time to change the road you're on" | |
