Character Name: Azx (Pronounced "ASKS") - No last name, technically Species: Human Gender: Male Height: 6'4" Weight: ~250 lbs. Ethnicity: N/A (Not from this world. Caucasian, technically) Elemental Affinity: Light Fighting Class: Swordsman Clothing: White T-shirt, blue jeans, brown boots and a white cloak Weapon: Dragon's Tusk (A hand-and-a-half sword with a falchion's razor-edged front and a jagged back for tearing and preventing wounds from healing well. No hand guard.) Skills: Excellent swordplay ability, well-balanced fighter, good at hand-to-hand, and ambidextrous. Special Abilities: Unison - Ability to gain attributes from close friends, if he has an item of significance to that person. Changes Azx's hair and eye colors to match the person, as well as being able to use a handful of that person's abilities for a short time. Perfect Unison - A stronger variation of Unison. This bond can only be forged when Azx and a friend trust each other 100% - but he can do this without having an item of theirs. In this mode, he can even choose to utilize the Unison partner's Special Attack, but that sacrifices his one special in that particular battle. Dragon's Blade - Focuses every last bit of Azx's strength into his sword and launches it forward in an enormous pillar of light. Incredibly devastating but leaves Azx exhausted and borderline incapacitated. His ultimate technique, unlocked through his courage, love and faith. Techniques: Whirling Quicksand Affinity: Wind Tech Type: Attack - Taught to him by his best friend and sworn brother, Drift. Azx spins around with blinding speed (though sacrifices precision in so doing) to attack enemies around him. By focusing his aura energies while doing so, a razor-thin blade of wind follows the sword after the attack for more damage. Good against large groups that try to attack at once. V-Cutter Drive Affinity: Wind Tech Type: Attack - Also taught my Drift. Azx steps back crab-style, then forward again towards his target, bringing the sword around over his head with both hand for a fast downward strike. Also has the wind blade following behind it for better focus. Focused and much more powerful than the first move Drift taught him, but the awkward execution leaves him open to attack. Can also cancel out wind attacks if they move in a circular motion. Undying Love Affinity: Null Tech Type: Defense - A defensive ability taught to Azx by his girlfriend, Angela. By focusing on that which he desires to protect above all else and through sheer force of will, Azx can extend a thin veil of his aura outward to form a low-level barrier that defends from energy-based attacks, but not physical ones. Lasts a brief time, depending on Azx's current condition, how determined he is, and how well he focused it. Rockin' World Affinity: Earth Tech Type: Attack - Ability taught by Angela. Azx focuses his aura energies into his blade and leaps up into the air then comes down blade-first at his intended target with his full bodyweight and gravity behind it. If he misses and hits the ground below, it can generate a short-range vibration that can surprise enemies. Powerful, but Azx can hurt himself if he uses it carelessly. (It was originally designed for use with a hammer, not a sword, so...) Hornet's Tail Affinity: Null Tech Type: Projectile Attack - A simple technique invented by Azx's adoptive mother, Jayde. By simply focusing a small amount of energy on the tip of his blade Azx can throw a tiny needle-like projectile at a medium range. Not very powerful, as the name implies, but can be a good distraction attack for minimal energy exertion. Glimmering Cutter Affinity: Light Tech Type: Projectile Attack - Another move used by Azx's mother. Considered a stronger version of the Hornet's Tail, Azx can focus energy throughout the entirety of his weapon, then swing it to throw a crescent moon-shaped blade straight forward. Medium power, medium distance, but fairly low chance of a killing strike due to its concussion-esque nature. --- Background: Azx was a warrior of another world who, as if beckoned by a force beyond his own, stumbled into a light he visualized in a strange and very vivid dream and fell into realities beyond his own. Compassionate, religious, hot-bloodedly courageous, and never one to give up the ship, Azx is always seeking to do what is right against all odds. His combat prowess was refined through the fires and blood of many battles waged in the name of the destiny of his world, but he now finds himself confused and alone, stranded against all odds as if forsaken for the God he so desperately seeks to follow after... |

Name: Jeannie Pierrette Polnareffa Sit: Chariot (For a picture, refer to my art topic) Species: Human (Sit User) Gender: Female Height: 5'9.5" Weight: ~180 lbs. Eye Color: Green Hair: White Date of Birth: February 7th Ethnicity: Caucasian (Of French descent) Elemental Affinity: (Self) Null (Sit) Metal Weapon of Choice: Self/Sit Clothing: Purple headband, purple tank top, long khaki pants, black tennis shoes (white socks) and an over-sized black leather belt. Skills: Skilled fighter bare-fisted (wherein she's well-balanced with a specialty in offense), calm under pressure, and user of the psychic phenomenon known as the "Sit" - a personification of mental energy, borne from the wielder's greatest desire and brought to life by their will and fighting instincts. Special Ability: L' épée de la Suprème Illusion(Supreme Illusion Sword) - Polnareffa calls her Sit to cast off its armor and it begins moving at hyper speeds - seeming to duplicate itself (it's not, in truth, it's merely moving too fast for normal eyes to register it properly) and she attacks with this blinding speed behind it, making it seem like one is being assaulted by a rapier-wielding armor of Chariots. It's not very efficient against super-heavy armored enemies, but doesn't exhaust Polnareffa terribly to execute. Techniques - Chariot Cast Off/Put On Type: Mode Shift (Can only be an attack if the enemy were sitting right on top of her - even then, it would be very minor concussion damage.) (Theoretically, multi target) Affinity: Steel Polnareffa can cause her Sit to shed, or retrieve its armor at will, shifting it between a respective "Speed" and "Defense" form. Which ever form her Sit is in, Polnareffa's main body also reaps the respective pros and cons of either. One-Thousand Spits Type: Melee Attack (Single target) Affinity: Steel Chariot leaps from its user and stabs rapidly at a concentrated area on a target for as long as it can. May or may not work well on heavily-armored enemies, depending on armor type. Sword Shot Type: Projectile Attack (Single or multi target) Affinity: Steel Chariot aims and then launches its rapier blade at the intended target. Problems arise since swords don't grow on trees - Polnareffa must retrieve the blade before she can use it again as it won't regenerate. However, being that it's made of energy, anyone else attempting to retrieve it would be a waste of their time. Chariot Parry Type: Defensive/Potential Counter (Variable) Affinity: Steel By whirling the rapier in a circle at high speeds, the Chariot can stop most types of small-to-medium projectiles (but not anything much bigger - like cannonballs or anything). If the attack is an elemental shot, it can be sent back at its user should Polnareffa want to do so. Background: A young girl, raised in Paris, France, Polnareffa discovered she had a special power other people didn't. Commonly referred to as things like ESP, telekinesis, pyrokinesis, and other things, the true form of all psychic phenomena, in truth, take on the form of the Sit. Polnareffa named hers after the emblem of battle - the Chariot. On the surface, she is cutting, sharp-tongued and equally sharp-witted, but the truth is she loves company and is simply looking for good friends, good food and adventure. Brief overview of the Sit: Polnareffa's Sit is a humanoid knight-type manifestation of her courage in battle - baring a similar physique in its armor to match its wielder's physical build. Its primary weapon is its rapier, so most of its combat revolves around that. Though it is made of energy, solid objects can touch it and injure it in battle, but conversely, the Sit can absorb damage for its wielder more efficiently than the wielder's flesh. By the same token, that which happens to the Sit happens to the wielder and vice-versa. Polnareffa can fight without it, but since it makes her that much more powerful, it's her closest ally. One day, after a whirlwind adventure had only just come to a close, Polnareffa was relaxing at home before dozing off into a nice nap. However, upon awakening, she was no longer in her bed - but in a new world altogether... |

Name: Gad It'stoughtoknowyourlastnamewhenyourfather'sideaofbirthcontrolisafakename (For a picture, refer to my art topic) Species: Human Gender: Male Height: 6'2" Weight: 275 lbs. Eye Color: Green Hair: Orange Date of Birth: April 1st Ethnicity: Caucasian Elemental Affinity: Null Weapon of Choice: Aura (Dragon's Deck)/Self Clothing: A large, over-sized coat with the left sleeve cut off, blue jeans, a family pendant (dragon emblem on it), over-sized belt, tennis shoes and a sun visor. Skills: Fairly athletic, a competent fighter though not in any particular art or style, very calm and able to keep a poker face in almost any situation and knowledgeable in many forms of gambling, particularly card games... No, not Yu-Gi-Oh. Ability: Gad's powers manifest themselves in the deck of cards that's attached to his left arm. He can draw a single card and use its effects accordingly, or draw a 5-card stud hand. Any card(s) effects will only play in that turn only. Alternatively, Gad may lend control to the dragon spirit's will, which makes him unable to use his aura deck (since the spirit is where its form comes from) but it makes Gad far stronger physically, though unable to feel pain and thus unable to realize when he's injured. As a result, this mode of combat is reserved for emergencies and when Gad's at the end of his rope. Deck Card Power List: -Spades- ♠ 2-4 - Knife 5-7 – Short sword 8-10 – Hand axe Jack – Broad sword Queen – Long spear King - Zweihander Ace – Sword of the Dragon -Clubs- ♣ 2-4 – Small jab shot 5-7 – Fire punch 8-10 – Rocket punch Jack – Cutting wind Queen – Rock-Breaker shot King – Blazing fists Ace – Dragon Spirit Strike -Hearts- ♥ 2-4 – Small healing/remove some ailments 5-7 – Attack/Defense up 8-10 – Moderate healing/small healing to group/a few more ailments removed Jack – Speed/Alertness up Queen – Large healing to group/removal of most ailments King – All attributes up Ace – Dragon’s Wind of Mercy (Heals everything short of death*) -Diamonds- ♦ 2-4 - Shuriken 5-7 – Moderate-sized throwing knife 8-10 – Blade Frisbee Jack – Small firearm Queen – AK-47 King - Minigun Ace – Dragon Buster Rifle -Joker- ** Self-destruct -Stud/Poker Hand Moves- ♠ ♣ ♥ ♦ J Card High/Junk - Nothing (Discard four, play 1) Pair – Double-shot energy blast Two Pair - Quadruple-shot energy blast Three of a Kind - Tri-elemental shot (Fire/Ice/Lightning) Straight – Rush-punch assault Flush – Flying jump kick Full House – Aura smash punch Four of a Kind – Dragon Breath Cannon Straight Flush – Dragon Fang Strike Five of a Kind (Joker Wild) – Summon Ryuuichimaru*** Royal Straight Flush – Supreme Dragon Kick *Due to the very real possibility of the heart cards becoming exceptionally broken in a one-vs-one match, the ace of hearts will be discarded is drawn in those fights. The ace of hearts will only be usable in storyline RPs in order to rectify this. **The Joker is dangerous to Gad's well-being only if drawn solo. If drawn in a 5-card stud hand, it becomes advantageous, but he still runs the risk of getting nothing as a result. Life's a trade-off. ***Ryuuichimaru is the name of the dragon spirit that possesses the eldest child of each generation in Gad's family due to an ancient pact made with it. However, it's a prick, an alcoholic and a generally disagreeable entity that dislikes Gad. When summoned, it may only stay for one turn before returning to the deck. In order to avoid abuse of the more powerful cards, when in play, I will have an actual deck of cards with me and on the honor of my family, I will play according to them. The deck is a standard deck with 3 jokers in it. No alterations have occurred to the deck since I opened it. Gad's Dragon Mode: Dragon Roulette: Influenced by Gad's gambler nature, Ryuuichimaru's powers are based on a simple roulette wheel system. Roulette 0: Failure. Ryuu ends up doing a Feint Strike which might, at least, throw the enemy of guard. If this deals damage, it is always a non-lethal blow. Roulette 1: Dragon Claw. An open-palm strike to a single opponent with a hasty, crushing blow. Roulette 2: Dragon Blow. A Shaolin-style punch that focuses strength from the gut which can pierce defenses. Roulette 3: Dragon Chakra. Focuses and summons up energy to heal self or ally by ~30-60%, depending on how many actions are taken that turn. The fewer other moves made, the more healing is done. Roulette 4: Dragon Double-Claw. Uses Dragon Claw with both hand on a single target. Roulette 5: Dragon Breath. Spews either flame, ice or lightning-affinity draconic breath at all enemies on field. Roulette 6: Blazing Fists. His hands ignite and Ryuu lets into an enemy with a blinding flurry of punches. Lucky 7: Aura Smash. Ryuu summons a barrier of energy around him and slams fist or feet-first into the target, causing a powerful Light-elemented burst. Has splash damage. Roulette 8: Dragon Kick. Smashes a devastating kick into the target's solar plexus. Enemies who are not heavyweights will be sent airborne and unable to attack in their next turn. Roulette 9: Gale Strike. Using spirit-like wings, causes a crushing burst of wind to strike all enemies. Perfect 10: Unleash the Beast. Using Gad as a launch pad, Ryuuichimaru, in spirit form, lashes out and strikes the enemies down to their very souls before quickly returning to him. Gad's Special: Myrmidon For three turns, once per battle, Gad and Ryuuichimaru cease functioning as separate entities and fuse into someone - or something - else entirely. This new entity - calling himself Myrmidon - assumes Gad's form but with scales, claws, wings and a whip-like tail and superhuman strength, agility and defenses. This is the pinnacle of Gad and Ryuu's powers, but he cannot utilize his other techniques in this form. Bio: Gad lives in a tiny apartment with his younger sister, Lily, after his mother informed them that she didn't really give a rip about them and since Gad was over 18 and Lily was a few months from the same, that she was kicking them out. Since then, Gad has devoted his life to awaiting his "big score" at the card scene. Until then, he keeps mooching off his best friend, Grumman, for loans. Edited by Jeff, Oct 24 2009, 07:52 PM.

Name: Penelope Pendragon Alias: Pea Princess (For a picture, refer to my art topic) Species: Human/Plant Thing (It's a long story) Gender: Female Height: 5'7" Weight: 250 lbs. Eye Color: Green Hair: Green (Photosynthetic) Date of Planting: December 12th Date of Actual Development: February 21st Date of "Birth": August 29th Ethnicity: Mutant (Appears Caucasian) Elemental Affinity: Plant Weapon of Choice: Self Clothing: -Civilian: T-shirts, jeans, tennis shoes; sometimes sandles -Super Heroine: Mask, ribbon, Kevlar armor, skirt, boots, gloves, belt containing the jade orb she calls the "Crystal Pea" Skills: Super strong, fast, durable and if exposed to sunlight has an excelled healing rate. She has other, miscellaneous powers that sometimes work and sometimes don't. Specials: Crystal Pea Attack: She takes the ornate jade orb from her belt and channels mystic "Pea Energy" into it before unleashing a rainbow-esque beam from it upon her target(s). Due to a prior incident, she's self-conscious concerning its name and thus opts to change it with each use. Techniques: Solar Healing Type: Passive Affinity: None Rapidly heals wounded body tissue when standing in sunlight or under a sun lamp. Pea Shooters Type: Projectile Attack (Single or Multi-Target) Affinity: None Fires small energy pellets from the jewels on her gloves. Good for suppressive fire, though not terribly powerful, as the name implies. Nature's Fury Type: Projectile Attack (Single or Multi-Target) Affinity: Plant By focusing her mystic Pea Energy on the world around her, she can fire off leaf or vine-like bursts from organic substances around her. Leaf Shield Type: Affinity: Plant Using a variation of Nature's Fury, Pea Princess can summon up a protective barrier and fend off attacks, or launch it forward as an offensive measure to catch foes off-guard. Flower Power Type: Healing (Single Target) Affinity: None Can heal small wounds and some status ailments on herself or an ally. Unreliable Powers (These run a 50/50 chance of failing) Flight - Can fly (not hover) over the terrain, but must be in motion while doing so. Has a bad tendency to end in crashing, but can be used to escape possible harm. Telekinesis - Can move any object or entity on the battlefield - either moving an ally away from harm or throwing something as an attack. Aero/Geo/Pyro/Hydrokinesis - Can summon up one of the four elements and attack with them. Invisibility - Turns invisible for one round. Power of Suggestion - Runs a chance of causing an enemy to reconsider attacking that turn. Only works when the target is on the offensive. Cannot suggest anything else other than to stop their assault. Giant Mode - Makes Pea Princess double in size (which somehow effects her clothing... don't ask) which doubles her offensive and defensive abilities but halves her speed for the next turn. Cannot attack in the same turn it was activated in. Laser Eyes - Fires a concentrated beam of light from her eyes at one target for severe burning damage. Background: Once a harmless, ordinary green pea, she was removed from her pod, frozen, processed, etc, until she wound up in the possession of the mad Dr. Satmorn Villain. Using cell phone, microwave and solar radiation (in hopes of creating a man-eating pea monster) created a fully-developed young woman with superhuman ability. Aided in her escape by an older lady named Cherry Morgan (AKA: Futon Woman), Pea Princess escaped as was adopted into human society. However, seeing the suffering of the people of Generi City, the then-named Penelope Pendragon took on the mantle of a super heroine in order to protect the innocent. Now, if she could only get the hang of some of her powers... |

As a result, she decided she’d head south to the region where humans lived. She had heard stories of the human settlements from her human father and so, after saying goodbye to her loving family, she set off. She learned much in her brief stay there, but quickly learned that most people in long-standing towns and cities get complacent even with nothing particularly exciting to do – at least by draconic standards. She then decided to continue her rigorous training she had started in her youth and travel with a party to where ever they opted to go – citing a lack of anything better to do with her time. Certainly there must be a party who’d like to have a half-dragon along for the ride, she reasoned… Edited by Jeff, Nov 16 2009, 09:01 PM.
