The ⑥of Four Against Nature
|
Well, I've been working bit by bit on a special type of RP...one that requires Specialist Characters, I.E: Characters built for this specific purpose. Root and I have our profiles for Specialist Characters in the Staff Forum. We'll inevitably move those over to the Character Profiles once I've set this up. The Premise of the RP involves the Phenomenon known as "Empower", an extension of the human body which allows a person to perform extraordinary feats. Said RP would mostly involve a group of people who discover this power and use it to deal with a recent outburst of monsters in the aura. Yes yes, I know "It's unoriginal blah blah blah" I don't care. Anyways, there are four types of Empower. 1) Body Attatchments: These Empowerments actually attack to a part of the user's body. (I.E: Sean's Nova Arm.) 2) Armor Empower: These Empowerments take the form of full-fledged armor over the user. (I.E: Bryan's Empower, whatever it's called, I forgot.) 3) Weapon Empower: Takes the form of a weapon that the user holds and can call back to him at will. 4) Orbital Empower: an Empower that takes the shape of an object that surrounds the user's body. Anyways, I'd like some feedback on this concept and to see who might be willing to take part in the RP. |

It sounds cool, but I'm a bit confused... It just sounds like your adding Empower to RPs. Do explain.

Actually I'm not adding them to all RPs. Specialist Class means it's meant for a special purpose. In this case the Empower User Specialist Class is meant for the RP that centers around it. They're only going to be used in that RP and RPs directly linked to it should I make a sequel, prequel, or whatever. |

Ohh... I see. But now it sounds like abilities you can turn on or off, like fusion and whatnot. But the idea of creating new RP-specific abilities... This could be cool. ![]() You should allow this in all RPs. Not the Empower, per se, but the ability to make abilities for that single RP. Okay, now I love the idea. xD |

Oh yeah, anyone's welcome to make Specialist RP. That was one of the purposes of this RP, to throw that idea on the table. |

Oh, cool then. I meet someone's expectations! ![]() So... when will this RP leave the Staff Forum? |

I kind of had the impression DMs could alter the rules of their own RPs as they wished. I mean, it's their RP after all, and they may bend the standard implementations to fit their story and setting. I don't see why this has to be asked, per say. |

It'll be up when I feel motivated to fully put the system down on paper. |
