The Lounge. A Dimensional Traveler Sponsered area for tired warriors to relax. The Lounge is Separated into The following main areas: -The Beds: This is self explanitory. This is where said warriors go to rest. JUST REST. Don't bring your girlfriend here or anything for some "Sexy time" or whatever you kids call it because we'll just kick you out. -The Bar: The Bar is where you can go to get just a nice drink. The bars host a wide variety of drinks, both non-alcoholic and alcoholic. You might have a hard time getting ahold of one of the more obscure drinks though. -Restaurant: This is where you can go if you want to enjoy a good meal. The Restaurant holds plenty of ingredients for foods from numerous backrounds. Again though, you might have a hard time getting ahold of the rarer delicacies. -The Relaxation Corner: This is where you go just to spark up some conversation with people. -The Games Zone: This is where you go to play some games. Inventory is currently limited to Arcade games though for now. Don't be a hog, either. --------- Daniel is already sitting at the Relaxation Corner, half-asleep due to a tired day. Knifis shoved his way through the front doors and stumbled over to the bar. He showed no notice of Daniel, or anyone else, for that matter. As he took a seat on the end, he threw the sides of his trenchcoat back, making his handgun well known. Knifis had no intention of causing trouble; he just wanted a reaction out of the bartender. Releasing a heavy sigh, Knifis collapsed his arms across the counter in front of him, swung his head down to meet them, and stared intently at the nicely polished surface pressed against his nose. As of recent, he had enemies, and powerful ones at that. The only thing holding him back from filling their bodies with metal was his... handicap. He was no longer safe. Anywhere. I should have never accepted that message. His thoughts were interrupted as the bartender came over to Knifis. He was fairly cautious of the mysterious man, and his face reflected that. Knifis brought his head up from his exhausted arms and caught the bartender's gaze. "Give me... a... just a beer." Knifis's voice was weary. He resumed his position with his head resting in his arms. When the glass of tinted liquid slid his way, he stopped it with his hand without lifting his head. |

The Speaker for the Dead

Extremely fatigued, Nyarn walks through the Lounge in search of the sleeping quarters. He was pretty much too tired to think of anything else, after traveling for so long. The constant struggles with the terrain, strange assassins, and nature in general left him weary Finally finding the door labeled "The Beds" and ignoring any of the text below that, walked in, fell onto a bed and fell straight asleep, letting his left arm hit the panel and fall off with a clank. |

Daniel's ears perked up when he heard the two people entering, one after the other. However, before he could really say anything, one had made for the bar while the other left for the beds. Daniel shrugged and laid back again. |

His energy slightly renewed from the smooth liquor, Knifis lifted his head and looked around. He didn't realize the place was this big when he entered, nor did see the man sitting in the adjoined room. Feeling a bit anxious for activity, Knifis meandered over to the relaxation corner and sat a moderate distance from the man. He kept his back to him as best he could while facing the doors. Just because he was with safe company did not ensure him safety in anyway. After a handful of silent minutes, Knifis spoke without turning to face his target. "You. Why are you here?" His voice was more hostile than intended, yet he didn't correct it in any way. He sat, glaring at the door, waiting for a response. The doors could burst open at any moment, and his dreadful foes could come rushing in. The thought made Knifis shiver. |

Daniel brought his head up. "I assume you're talking to me. This Lounge is sponsored by the Dimensional Travelers...of which I work for. I was assigned to keep an eye on things until we can get an official manager." He sat up again and noticed the person talking to him seemed to be tense. "Is something wrong?" |

"Oh, it's... It's nothing." Knifis looked around cautiously. "Wait, so you work for these people? How well guarded is this place? What are the chances of, say... mass-murderers and sadistic assassins coming in here to kill someone very brutally?" Knifis kept his eyes focused on the door, but also started flipping his gaze over to the nearby windows. |
