The Speaker for the Dead
|
Geddon wandered into Morrowshire, his vision still perceiving the strange energies of his surroundings when he was knocked off his feet again. A strange being had run into him, and mumbled an apology that he only got through half way. The creature stood up and asked the title of the Magistrate and the latter nodded silently. Casting his gaze over the creature, Geddon noticed that unlike most other life-forms he had met, this one's resonance was contained within itself and the energy readings were much, much higher than most normal lifeforms. Putting this abnormality to the back of his mind, he concentrated on the conversation at hand and as politely as possible asked: "What business do you have with me, stranger? I don't believe I've seen you around this town before..." As he said this, he grinned at the small bit of irony he knew in his mind that no one else would understand. |

Does being the only sane one make me the insane one, in a sort of way? Though my eyes could see, I was still a blind man; Though my mind could think, I still was a madman... "Yes there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run...there's still time to change the road you're on" | |
