The ⑥of Four Against Nature

So are you possibly confused about what to do here at Four Against Nature? Well, this little guide should be able to assist you with that! Q: What is this place, exactly? A: Four Against Nature is merely a hangout. The whole idea of the board is for you, the member, to post on whatever you feel like, as long as it is within the rules to do so. You should have no problem finding a place for your form of discussion, but that's the secondary nature of this guide. To help you find that out if you're confused. Q: What's with the name and all the inside references? A: The name refers to our group of four (Sean, Bryan\Root, Gabby\Rem and Jeff). Bryan\Root came up with the name a while back, and I decided it to be the best name for the board. Also, Inside References assume only a small closed party know of them. These are moreso obscure references, which you can find with only a little effort. Q: Why do you guys act like such assholes to each other? A: The concept of being good friends flew right over our heads, and we prefer to show our friendship by being heartlessly cruel to each other. Q: Why do you guys horribly exaggerate your interests? A: Because it's inherently funny to imply that Jeff likes women thrice his own age, to imply that Bryan thoroughly enjoys being hurt, to imply Gabby only gets joy from causing others to bleed, and to imply that Sean plasters pictures of Sakuya on his ceiling to look at before he goes to bed. As per the above question: WE'RE ASSHOLES AND WE DO THIS TO EACH OTHER. Q: Why do your rules seem to be so harsh\Why are you guys so hostile? A: We have a very low tolerance for idiocy, so the rules may come off as somewhat harsh. Really, we can be nice to members as long as they're not phenomenally foolish. If you're an intelligent, level minded individual, you'll get along just fine here on FAN. It also helps if you've lost about 75% of your sanity in an unmentionable accident. Q: I'm not sure where to post.... A: Well, here's a small guide then that should give you a general idea. You want to give a recommendation to improve the board- Suggestions Box You want to talk about recipies, restaurants or any other topic related to cooking and food - The Kitchen. You want to post a fun little minigame for people to play- Forum Playground (Subforum of The Hangout) You want to have a serious debate about something- Debate Team's Room (Subforum of The Hangout) You want to talk about your favorite game, ask for help, or rant about a game- Video Game Zone You want to review a game- Critic's Area (Subforum of Video Game Zone) You want to talk about an Online game or might want to find some other people who play it to organize a game- Online Gaming (Subforum of Video Game Zone) You want to start a commentated playthrough of a video game you happen to like - Let's all Play (Subforum of Video Game Zone). You want to talk about a television show, Anime, favorite music, comics, etc- Media Sector You want to post things you've drawn or sprited- Room 24 (Art) You want to post a story you've written- Room 42 (Literature) You want to post a song you composed or remixed- Room 16 (Music) You want to post about something that isn't covered by the above- The Hangout. Q: What are ranks? A: The Ranks are given as you reach certain post numbers Ranks work in there being tiers. Each Tier has 5 subtiers, or "Ranks" going from 5 to 1, and then it goes to the next tier. Here's the Tiers: Starter: Posts 0-4 Newbie: 5-34 Jr. Member: 35-89 Member: 90-169 Sr. Member: 170-279 Regular: 280-439 Veteran: 440-649 Elite: 650-909 Almost Awesome: 910-??? ....the rest...well you'll have to find out! ;D (The information on the other ranks will be added as they are revealed. Gotta find em all!) Q: These Ranks are retarded and arbitrary. Why did you include them? A: Boredom, and the same reason the Xbox Live Gamerscore system exists, to make you feel like you accomplished something even if all you accomplished was proving your abundance of free time. Obviously, the ranks aren't meant to be taken too seriously ,and those who do will probably be knocked down a peg. Q: What's an A: Locked topics are topics in which only staff are permitted to post. Topics are usually locked if they are not meant for member posting or if the topic is dead. Q: What's Post Reporting? A: Post Reporting is the action of bringing a post to the attention of staff, usually because of a rule breaking. Q: Is that it?
