Shade (Late) vs Sirius; Location: Pier Dock / Warehouse

A few remain on the dock, however, but he remains ignorant of this detail. The killing is simply too much fun. One more and I'll be done for tonight. Shade takes a cursory glance over his surroundings. An abandoned warehouse based on cement, located just one hundred feet off the aged pier dock. Cars honking in an irritating cacophony, squeezed between rows and columns of skyscrapers. The bright yellow lights block out all of the stars; the only one that remains in the sky is the north star itself. Let's see who shows up... "Seems like you have changed since the last time we met Shade. Unless this was one of your targets?" Becky meanwhile slipped into the water at the edge of the arena, and made her way underwater to the end of the dock, quietly slithering up the pillar and onto the dock behind Shade. "It seems like a long time since our first meeting in that field" Sirius stated, "It's about time we followed up on the admission of battle we stated then. Lets begin" On mental cue, the second Sirius finished talking, Becky lunged at Shade's left leg, and Sirius destabilized the dock by cracking the foundations. With the dock already wet and slightly slippery from the water, the destabilization would likely cause the assassin to loose his footing for a moment, possibly causing him to land in the water.

Shade notices Sirius's presence, as well as the lack of his snake, with his Obsidian eye, which is positioned opposite his natural eye to detect any possible ambushes. Already planning his first moves, he converts himself into the ever-so-familiar shadowcrawl form as Sirius further signals his presence through dialogue. "No snake;" Shade thinks to himself as he drops through the dock's gaps and sticks to its underside, "perhaps the man has released the creature between when I last met him and now. That's careless thinking though. He still has it, and it's more than likely attempting to get the drop on me." Still retaining his dual directional vision field in his alternate phase, Shade locates the snake slithering its way up the pillar, and quickly attempts to lunge backwards away from it at excess of 60 miles per hour (towards Sirius's position but away from the snake). As a result, his shadowcrawl form hits the water, but does not sink completely. Now submerged by a few tenths of an inch, Shade re-emerges his head and left arm so that they are both above surface level. At this point, Sirius has started to shake the foundations of the dock, attempting to dislodge Shade's footing. In response, he crafts and fires a mini-black pulse, with just enough power to break the dock under Sirius's approximate location, and returns to his full shadowcrawl form, ready to continue his evasion routine.

Taking a few steps back and shifting to Becky's thermal vision, Sirius locates a warm puddle in the water. Suddenly, a head and arm emerge from the puddle. Recognizing shade, Sirius raises up an earthen dome from underwater, around and over Shade, as Shade launches a shadowy bolt at the dock's foundations. Sirius ducks as the bolt hits the dock, and causes the concrete to shatter throwing debris everywhere. but smiles, Shade's maneuverability, even in shadowcrawl form would likely be significantly limited, having only one limb extended to propel himself, and that limb dedicated to attacking, plus being slowed down from being wet, Shade looked to be heading to a watery grave. Becky meanwhile drops off the dock into the water, circling the dome Sirius created (if shade somehow manages to dodge the dome, Becky will now aim a bite at him.) Cmon Austin pay attention) Shade sees the dome rising around him, and attempts to solidify both feet from his shadowcrawl form in order to jump to escape, However the process takes too long, and instead of escaping, he ends up crashing into the stone ceiling of the dome, at a moderate pace, due to being held back by the water. Sirius, takes the opportunity to cause the dome to erupt in earthen spears coming from all directions at shade. Now underwater, likely out of breath from hitting the ceiling, Shade would be likely suffering from suffocation, as well as having to deal with Sirius' earthen cage.

Shade thinks as he gets stabbed in multiple directions by the earth spears, and reverts back to his normal form as the blood diffuses into the water. His left hand twitches slightly before going limp. His last breath escapes him, and the nyctalopia dagger he was holding sinks to the bottom of the ocean. Not long after, his body quickly decomposes as he is transported to one of countless dead zones. (Note to reader: I resigned.) Edited by Austin, Nov 8 2009, 09:56 PM.
