The Speaker for the Dead
|
Anyone other than me see this movie? If not, it's actually pretty good. It's a rock opera based on The Who's album "Tommy" (what a shocker, I know.) I don't want to spoil it, but basically it's about a kid who, when he is little sees his father off to World War 2. He's presumed dead, and his mother gets another lover. Welp, Dad comes back and catches mom with the lover, but the two lovers kill him...and Tommy sees it all. Tommy is traumatized by this, and told "You didn't see nothing, didn't hear nothing, and won't say a word to anybody." As such...that's how he begins living his life. Really interesting, epic music. Highly recommended, if you like that classic rock stuff. |

Does being the only sane one make me the insane one, in a sort of way? Though my eyes could see, I was still a blind man; Though my mind could think, I still was a madman... "Yes there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run...there's still time to change the road you're on" | |
