Well for all who are not aware yet the next kamen rider series has already been revealed, since reports state that Kamen Rider Decade is ending on episode 30 for some reason... But any way here is the new kamen rider: Kamen Rider W (Kamen Rider Double) http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3vWr2NjYpE ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Yeah. Supposedly he's "Double" because it's two guys who fuse into one. I feel somewhat ambivalent to the whole idea, though. It seems like a pretty cheap gimmick compared to some of the amazing stuff the showa era's seen (though a lot better than MOAR DEN-O LAWL!) and, really, do we need ANOTHER grasshopper motif? I mean, it's a hell of a lot more stylish than most of the hoppers thus far, but, seriously... this is how far we've managed to come in 38 years. Another grasshopper? Well, aesthetic complaints aside, the dual-main-character theme might open up some really cool plot elements and if it's well-written, I look forward to it. I guess we'll have to see. *Edit* Rumors have cropped up about the series now. Apparently the "W" on the belt is something called a GaiaMemory. What it is and how it works are unknowns right now, but seem to be the source of his power. A secondary rider, Kamen Rider T (Read: Triple), has three GaiaMemories and a Blue/Red/Green motif judging from the art seen of him thus far. Edited by Jeff, Jul 6 2009, 12:36 PM.
