The Speaker for the Dead

I finally decided to update again. Last time on Adventures of a British Root: The Crown Dungeon and now... ![]() Jumping off cliffs and running into people. ![]() Apparently causing her to go emo due to a story is grounds for getting free stuff. Fine by me! ![]() I fell even further down Rolling Ridge, and I decided to plant some seeds, because that's me. Yup, Treehugger Root. ![]() Then, I went back up to the top of the mountain to give the Goron free explosive stuff...in return for valuable stuff. Totally fair, right? Of course it is. ![]() Going down to the base of Rolling Ridge actually let's me move forward! ![]() ...If I can't dance, I'm not going to make friends? *Flashforward* Game: You are the dancing rooooot~ Look: NOOOOOO! /vader ... right ![]() Hey look! Bright colors! That's good, right? ![]() You move forward, and hey, looks like a dungeon! But no, lawl, you can't get in there until you go through DDR - Zelda Style. ![]() A green goron. That's... just beautiful. ![]() I only wish I was joking. This is in fact the part of the game I hate the most - because of the amount of timing it requires. Yes, I also hate it because I just made a joke with my alias and an ABBA song...but that's besides the point. ![]() You get this in return, which causes the Goron in front of the stairs to move and whine about wanting something. ![]() Go upstairs and find a Goron who I call the "Groupie Goron". He claims to be friends with the Graceful Goron. Capcom...you make me sick. ![]() And as you can tell, Look is a 1337 Ninja really, and gets 100 rupees for using the switch hook on a hedge... in a cave. ![]() Walk out of the cave and come down to see this. That room over there is a fairy fountain. ![]() Go to the past (there's a time warp spot outside the Mermaid Cavern) and guess what? Look gets to dance. Again. First, though, a gasha seed! Look: I AM NOT THE DANCING LOOK! WHAT THE CRAP?! ![]() Yeah, see, the Goron is back there. Go make him move. ![]() Mini-Games! yay! ![]() Go all the way up and jump over the edge for another Gasha Seeds. I should probably start hunting for my trees soon. ![]() Moving up into the Past's mountain top gets you here, where you must use the switch hook to move the vine plant. ![]() Go to the future and you can play the mine cart game. ![]() Which involves shooting big rupees, for some strange reason. Because that totally makes sense. ![]() MM ROCK BRISKET! THAT SOUNDS SO DELICIOUS! ![]() Just for giggles, let's go to the past and play MORE games! ![]() It's the deflection shot game. Deflect a little particle with your sword and hit things to earn points. I got Lava Juice, an item you will need eventually for it. ![]() Get a high score again, and you get the boomerang...though I doubt I'll use it. ![]() Here's a funny turn of events. The Goron from the present gives you the vase for food. ![]() The Goron in the past wanted the vase....time paradox anybody?! ![]() Go upstairs in the present, and give this beverage to the Goron to play more games... ![]() Explosive games. ![]() You get the Mermaid key for the Present for winning. ![]() Give the Lava Juice to the "friend" of the Graceful Goron and he'll give you a Letter to introduce him to you. ![]() And because Capcom has a cruel sense of humor, you have to half a dance-off with him AND pay for it. ![]() However, Look prevails again! ![]() And thus, starts... The Mermaid Cavern Dun dun dun! Seeyah next time, hopefully the updates will be more closer together |

Does being the only sane one make me the insane one, in a sort of way? Though my eyes could see, I was still a blind man; Though my mind could think, I still was a madman... "Yes there are two paths you can go by, but in the long run...there's still time to change the road you're on" | |

Actually, by recieving the vase from the present and then giving it to the goron in the past, you've created a stable time loop. The goron originally got the vase from you, then holds it in their family or something for generations until the present you comes to take it, and then they use it to give to the past goron, etc. Or something like that. |

I don't know if you know this root, but The gasha seed trees and Maple both drop a heart piece (it's the really really rare drop). Easiest spot to farm maple is generally right after a dungeon. She usually comes around every time you leave one of the dungeons. I think you're coming up on one soon, try to farm it if you haven't picked it up yet.
