Welcome to the Let's Play subforum of Four Against Nature! Since I was the one who pretty much made and regularly checks into this part of the forum, I'm the one with final say over this section. However, follow just a couple, simple rules and guidelines and all will be well. Number 1 You may Let's Play any game that is older than three months from its initial release. Ports, expansion packs and updated re-releases don't effect that number. (Example being you could LP Chrono Trigger DS brand new, because the original game isn't that different from the re-released port). ROM hacks are not bound by any time restrictions. That's the sole restriction on time. Number 2 No MMORPGs, please, as they result in LPs of grinding against random mooks with no real objective or story and no clearly defined "end". AO-Rated games may not be LPed here under any circumstances. You know which ones I'm talking about and willful ignorance of this rule is sufficient grounds for being perma-banned. 2a: Violence of any form is acceptable in LPs. Sexual content is not. Period. Number 3 LPs may be screenshot, video, art, or any variation or hybrid thereof, but FAN cannot host the pictures or the video for you. That's on you. For screenshots and art, PhotoBucket or ImageShack are good file hosters. For video, try Viddler, Dailymotion, or Youtube (if you're willing to limit video length). 3a: As a result of the above, please be aware that the LP section is very 56k-unsafe and will cause slow connections to cry. You have been warned. Number 4 Please do not LP games already LP'd here. With few exceptions, once you play through and beat a game, you've pretty much seen and done it all or at least enough to the point where doing so again is redundant. You may, however, LP sequels or prequels to games that may have similar mechanics so long as they haven't been done before. A master list of games that have been or are currently being Let's Played are listed below. Number 5 Anyone may post an LP here. We will not discriminate against LP's of lower quality unless it causes a massive inconvenience (Ex.: They're unreadable, the video is not working, etc). However, we encourage each LP-er to put their all into making each LP. Number 6 Finally, have fun. That's what Let's Play is all about. If you don't like Let's Plays, just move on to another portion of the forum. Harassment of LP-ers will not be tolerated and will result in a warning as detailed under the forum's base rules. Just play nice and we'll all have a good time. Thanks everybody for your time and consideration and I'll be sure to adjust the rules accordingly as we grow and garner new members! Thanks!
