The DDR of all things Rythm
|
The time has come to compile a list... A list of Madness... A list of SPARTA!!! ....... ....... I'm going to update this list with five games every Sunday and Wednesday, starting from the bottom up to the top.So here it goes, DDR's TOP 100 VIDEO GAMES #100-#95 100. Donkey Kong Arcade (Arcade) I can't remember how many quarters I spent trying to get the highscore in DK. I think I played trough the game 3 times in one play through without dying. Sure it's simplistic, but it's challenging and addicting. 99. The Sims (PC) I used to play this all the time when I was about 14/15-ish. The gameplay was addicting as heck and, trying to maintain more than one person was always a challenge. 98. Star Wars Battlefront (PC) More than anything a Star Wars Fan could want. Playing as a Strom Trooper very rarely got old. I'd usually play this until 1 AM. The only problem with it was that one could not play as Jedi, however this was easily fixed by a mod that most everyone patched onto their game. 97. Dragonball Z Shin Budokai (PSP) Basically another DBZ game. The graphics are gorgeous, however because it is a Dragonball game it is fated to be a little bit mediocre. I played it through once and enjoyed it, because of the graphics, not the gameplay. 96. Banjo Kazooie: Grunty's Revenge (GBA) The original BK and it's sequel are masterpieces, however the GBA title did not stand out on it's own. It was a great game, and the only GBA title I have played to use full 3D grapics. 95. Star Trek Armada Commanding entire Starfleet fleets, battling the Borg. It was an amazing Star Trek experience. I played it nonstop for about 2 weeks, until I discovered Armada 2. |

I figured the board could be revived. Disregard the update schedule though... >_< 94. Peggle (PC/XBLA) Recently, I've become addicted to the Peggle series. Basically, it's like Puyo Pop, where you shoot a ball to hit pegs. Except, it has power ups, an amazing soundtrack and a Half Life Theme 93. Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (360/PS3) This game falls short in a lot of areas. *STORY* AHEM...But how can you beat the satisfaction of force pushing a crowd of Rebels down an unending pit? 92. The Movies (PC) Make your own movies, with a deep in-game editor and story mode, kept the game in my head for a long time. 91. Code Name Gordon While waiting for the release of HL2, this free sidescroller kept me up for hours a night. It's basically HL2, but in sidescroller form. 'Nuff said. 90. Sim City Societies Not the greatest Sim franchise game, but it felt fresh with new graphics and locales. Should satisfy me until the actual Sim City 5 arrives! |
