Name: Gad It'stoughtoknowyourlastnamewhenyourfather'sideaofbirthcontrolisafakename (For a picture, refer to my art topic) Species: Human Gender: Male Height: 6'2" Weight: 275 lbs. Eye Color: Green Hair: Orange Date of Birth: April 1st Ethnicity: Caucasian Elemental Affinity: Null Weapon of Choice: Aura (Dragon's Deck)/Self Clothing: A large, over-sized coat with the left sleeve cut off, blue jeans, a family pendant (dragon emblem on it), over-sized belt, tennis shoes and a sun visor. Skills: Fairly athletic, a competent fighter though not in any particular art or style, very calm and able to keep a poker face in almost any situation and knowledgeable in many forms of gambling, particularly card games... No, not Yu-Gi-Oh. Ability: Gad's powers manifest themselves in the deck of cards that's attached to his left arm. He can draw a single card and use its effects accordingly, or draw a 5-card stud hand. Any card(s) effects will only play in that turn only. Alternatively, Gad may lend control to the dragon spirit's will, which makes him unable to use his aura deck (since the spirit is where its form comes from) but it makes Gad far stronger physically, though unable to feel pain and thus unable to realize when he's injured. As a result, this mode of combat is reserved for emergencies and when Gad's at the end of his rope. Deck Card Power List: -Spades- ♠ 2-4 - Knife 5-7 – Short sword 8-10 – Hand axe Jack – Broad sword Queen – Long spear King - Zweihander Ace – Sword of the Dragon -Clubs- ♣ 2-4 – Small jab shot 5-7 – Fire punch 8-10 – Rocket punch Jack – Cutting wind Queen – Rock-Breaker shot King – Blazing fists Ace – Dragon Spirit Strike -Hearts- ♥ 2-4 – Small healing/remove some ailments 5-7 – Attack/Defense up 8-10 – Moderate healing/small healing to group/a few more ailments removed Jack – Speed/Alertness up Queen – Large healing to group/removal of most ailments King – All attributes up Ace – Dragon’s Wind of Mercy (Heals everything short of death*) -Diamonds- ♦ 2-4 - Shuriken 5-7 – Moderate-sized throwing knife 8-10 – Blade Frisbee Jack – Small firearm Queen – AK-47 King - Minigun Ace – Dragon Buster Rifle -Joker- ** Self-destruct -Stud/Poker Hand Moves- ♠ ♣ ♥ ♦ J Card High/Junk - Nothing (Discard four, play 1) Pair – Double-shot energy blast Two Pair - Quadruple-shot energy blast Three of a Kind - Tri-elemental shot (Fire/Ice/Lightning) Straight – Rush-punch assault Flush – Flying jump kick Full House – Aura smash punch Four of a Kind – Dragon Breath Cannon Straight Flush – Dragon Fang Strike Five of a Kind (Joker Wild) – Summon Ryuuichimaru*** Royal Straight Flush – Supreme Dragon Kick *Due to the very real possibility of the heart cards becoming exceptionally broken in a one-vs-one match, the ace of hearts will be discarded is drawn in those fights. The ace of hearts will only be usable in storyline RPs in order to rectify this. **The Joker is dangerous to Gad's well-being only if drawn solo. If drawn in a 5-card stud hand, it becomes advantageous, but he still runs the risk of getting nothing as a result. Life's a trade-off. ***Ryuuichimaru is the name of the dragon spirit that possesses the eldest child of each generation in Gad's family due to an ancient pact made with it. However, it's a prick, an alcoholic and a generally disagreeable entity that dislikes Gad. When summoned, it may only stay for one turn before returning to the deck. In order to avoid abuse of the more powerful cards, when in play, I will have an actual deck of cards with me and on the honor of my family, I will play according to them. The deck is a standard deck with 3 jokers in it. No alterations have occurred to the deck since I opened it. Gad's Dragon Mode: Dragon Roulette: Influenced by Gad's gambler nature, Ryuuichimaru's powers are based on a simple roulette wheel system. Roulette 0: Failure. Ryuu ends up doing a Feint Strike which might, at least, throw the enemy of guard. If this deals damage, it is always a non-lethal blow. Roulette 1: Dragon Claw. An open-palm strike to a single opponent with a hasty, crushing blow. Roulette 2: Dragon Blow. A Shaolin-style punch that focuses strength from the gut which can pierce defenses. Roulette 3: Dragon Chakra. Focuses and summons up energy to heal self or ally by ~30-60%, depending on how many actions are taken that turn. The fewer other moves made, the more healing is done. Roulette 4: Dragon Double-Claw. Uses Dragon Claw with both hand on a single target. Roulette 5: Dragon Breath. Spews either flame, ice or lightning-affinity draconic breath at all enemies on field. Roulette 6: Blazing Fists. His hands ignite and Ryuu lets into an enemy with a blinding flurry of punches. Lucky 7: Aura Smash. Ryuu summons a barrier of energy around him and slams fist or feet-first into the target, causing a powerful Light-elemented burst. Has splash damage. Roulette 8: Dragon Kick. Smashes a devastating kick into the target's solar plexus. Enemies who are not heavyweights will be sent airborne and unable to attack in their next turn. Roulette 9: Gale Strike. Using spirit-like wings, causes a crushing burst of wind to strike all enemies. Perfect 10: Unleash the Beast. Using Gad as a launch pad, Ryuuichimaru, in spirit form, lashes out and strikes the enemies down to their very souls before quickly returning to him. Gad's Special: Myrmidon For three turns, once per battle, Gad and Ryuuichimaru cease functioning as separate entities and fuse into someone - or something - else entirely. This new entity - calling himself Myrmidon - assumes Gad's form but with scales, claws, wings and a whip-like tail and superhuman strength, agility and defenses. This is the pinnacle of Gad and Ryuu's powers, but he cannot utilize his other techniques in this form. Bio: Gad lives in a tiny apartment with his younger sister, Lily, after his mother informed them that she didn't really give a rip about them and since Gad was over 18 and Lily was a few months from the same, that she was kicking them out. Since then, Gad has devoted his life to awaiting his "big score" at the card scene. Until then, he keeps mooching off his best friend, Grumman, for loans. Edited by Jeff, Oct 24 2009, 07:52 PM.
