I have had a couple people ask me how to delete messages because their Inbox is getting full. Two things... 1.) You cannot delete messages 2.) You do not have a max PM's. Think of the "Archive" as a delete button if you want to keep certain messages out of your inbox. The way the server has it set is don't have a limit on PM's so you won't end up with a full box. The thing they are doing with the PM system is trying to kind of copy Gmail. Two things about Gmail that have made it popular is that you never have to delete anything and emails that go back and forth responded to are like "conversations" Granted you have the option to delete your emails in Gmail. This is something that people are begging for at the Support forum so it may or may not happen. In the meantime, if you don't want to look at certain messages anymore, hit the "archive" button. If you wan tot cut down on the messages in your inbox, when sending PM's to the same people, keep replying in the same one to carry on your "conversation" |
