Thump, you may have to explain to Sea what a movie is.

Sea, you know when you go into a dark building and see images of people flickering on a white sheet, that's a movie. Now in Canada, when the flickering stops, the lights come on and you stand up and sing "God Save the Queen", that's a movie. I've been there, North Bay.

To whom do you sing your praise to now? Note, that out of respect for Canada, my host country, I also stood and sang.

We rarely sing "God Save the Queen" any more. I can't remember the last time. It's pretty much always "Oh Canada".

If I'm in the US, I stand for the "Star Spangled Banner", but I don't sing - with my voice, the Americans around me would think I'm making fun of them.

Our national anthem is difficult to sing. I usually mouth it if someone is watching. I think it was originally and old English pub song.

Yes it was, at least the tune.

They used to fire it up at the end of a long night of drinking, and see how many could actually sing it.
