NY Times Forced to Backtrack on Scott Pruitt Hit Piece with ‘Important’ Correction

On Saturday, The New York Times had to backtrack on a key item in a piece published a day earlier that laid out a blistering attack on EPA Administrator Scott Pruitt.

The four-byline piece by Eric Lipton, Steve Eder, Lisa Friedman and Hiroko Tabuchi attacked Pruitt on the grounds he was using instructing aides to perform tasks for Pruitt’s “personal life.”

The error was in a portion featured prominently in the original Times story. It accused the Pruitt of working to help his daughter, McKenna Pruitt, secure admission into the University of Virginia School of Law through the aid of former Virginia House of Delegates Speaker William Howell.......

So, out of all the things that article and others have accused Pruitt of, one turned out to be wrong...

And Brietbart focuses on that and barely mentions the huge numbers of other things Pruitt has done as the biggest monster in the Trumpian Swamp.

Typical. It'll be all over the rest of the RWEC by tomorrow, if it isn't already....

The point is, which you completely missed, the NYT gets a lot of things wrong. They print anything they can which would make the Trump administration look bad and then check their facts. Pure yellow page journalism.

That's Bull and you know it. But even if it were true, it's still better than Brietbart, which exists only to make the Dems and the Left look bad, and in the process gets virtually everything wrong.

And not only do they get everything wrong, (by intentionally leaving out significant details most of the time), they never check to find the real story, and never, ever, ever admit they've made a mistake.

Or is that the part that you don't understand - the fact that the NYT admits their errors and corrects them, and you can't imagine why anyone would do that? You certainly never do...

Listen to the Brew. The NYTimes, Washington Post, MSNBC, the Alphabets and all the major/miner LWEC sources, who focus on some small, out-of-context words/print and ignore the whole. The desperation of hate oozing out, and doing so at all and any cost to destroy anything not adhering to their agenda. Their slogan, "Party before country."

The New York Times and the Washington Post follow accepted journalistic standards. I don't know about MSNBC or the "Alphabets." I don't follow them. From what I've seen, Breitbart, Powerline and Fox News don't seem to.

The NY Times and the Washington Post following accepted journalistic standards, without bias, is your opinion. Fox not following accepted journalistic standards is also your opinion, which my opinion doesn't agree with.

If you want to look deeper, Google the people writing the stories and you soon find out their bias. I didn't check out this story so maybe someone else here can look up the reporters and report back here their bias and background. I doubt there is a single MSM reporter who is not biased to the left.
