Lowell, do you have any proof that the KKK had any influence whatsoever on the Republican party or it's policies or platforms?

All I know for sure, Jim, is that the KKK and other White Supremacy groups supported the party and candidate that they felt best reflected their own beliefs.

Pat,

I do not deny the historical fact about the KKK and the Democrats in 1924. Why do you attempt to deny the facts about the KKK and the Republican party al and the KKK almost 100 years later?

On, that's right. Anyone or any organization that to you is "anti-socialist," np matter how racist, is perfectly acceptable to you and other right wing reactionaries.
I'm not denying anything Colo, it is you trying to link Trump to the KKK in a manner that has no substance or truth about it. And you keep avoiding the truth with this last post of yours, the premise of these topics is too get to an even playing field for future discussions here. How can I have a truthful discussion with you and others on the left, when you obfuscate, and dance around the facts? The left plays the race game yet their democrat party has been the historical party of racism. Right up to today you exploit blacks and other minorities for political gain.

Ok. If the Clintons can accept their money, I will not mind if the Republicans will accept their money. As long as they don't influence the candidate in any way. You know, like Hillary's pay to play scheme.

Colo is just being Colo so don't expect facts to make a difference with him.

Colo_crawdad wants us to forget that the Communist Party and the Socialist Party supported Thunder Thighs as the candidate which most represented their views.

Now, we are back to the right wing ideologues' paranoia of which both Joe McCarthy and Goebbels would be proud.
