Here in Minnesota, on the edge of the tundra, our Christmas day forcast includes a thunderstorm.

A few thunderstorms are possible late Sunday afternoon and evening. Around one inch of rain is expected, which could lead to river flooding and urban flooding, especially where storm drains are plugged by snow piles.

Geez Jim! Get one of those adjustable beds. Your snoring woke me up from a deep one.
I am sooo sorry, Ban. I tend to snooze when I am bored to death with phony crap.

Temperatures near the North Pole climbed toward the freezing mark Thursday, just days before Christmas and one day after the winter solstice.

A buoy about 88 miles south of the North Pole northeast of Greenland rose to -0.40 degrees Celsius - just over 31 degrees Fahrenheit - early Thursday, according to the North Pole Environmental Observatory.

It's cloudy here today, somewhere it's sunny. Weather goes on despite Noclue's noise.
