That is your poor opinion which means nothing since you have no knowledge of higher mathematics or statistics.

I know enough to look for scientific studies that support my opinions rather than just believing opinions of someone who claims to have done meteorological work forty years ago.

Pat, do you believe there are enough people changing their way of living to be of any significant impact on the world's environment? How many more centuries do you think this will lengthen the ability to exist on this planet? I am not changing the way I do anything nor do I know anyone that is.
No, I don't believe it would have much impact overall, but if you can save money on your bills after taking into consideration the amortization of the efforts, it makes sense. For a guy like you or me, we would never live long enough for a solar system to pay off. The same for replacing all the appliances.

If every American changed their ways, that still does not account for the growing pollution by 3rd world countries, countries with high birth rates, and China.

I agree Pat, I change out the light bulbs for LEDs when they burn out. I replace appliances with energy efficient ones when they go bad. We put in more insulation some years back. We have quite a bit more than is recommended. I can't see any need to do more.

You just stated your problem. You only look for studies that support your preconceived opinion. That is not science. That is politics which is what the alarmist proclaim, politics to control the people and raise more money for the government to redistribute.

Actually, I look for scientific studies, examine their findings and then form my opinions.

I have yet to see you link a scientific study. Your references seem to be always be political blogs.

Now you are :spinning:

You said exactly what you do. You are far from being able to understand even the simplest science. I have already proven that.

You need to follow the money for a change. You might wise up.

BINGO. Do these alarmists expect the earth to last forever? I don't ever see the entire planet succumbing to the alarmists demands. Does anyone know that this planet is not close to the end of its existence?

Berton,

Come up with a scientific study that supports your stance on Climate Change and then it might be worthwhile discussing science with you.

Learn something about science, mathematics, and statistics and you might be able to actually speak about science.

What you ask for I have done in the past. You and others dismissed them out of hand because they did not toe your alarmist line. I will not waist my time doing it again. Take it or leave it, you lost.
