Sorry, Pat, no it isn't a really a fact, at least as far as Global Warming as a whole is concerned. There have been a few tiny areas, mostly in the oceans and part of Siberia, but they are insignificant compared to the whole globe. We also have had a Polar Vortex happening for a couple of weeks in December, but that'll make little difference in the yearly global average when the entire December figures are in. You'll note that for the first time ever, they've had to come up with a new colour - purple - for the insane warmth in the Arctic. ![]() (Sorry, no complete maps for all of 2016 yet.)
