I agree with you, Neutral. There is no good to come for retaining ineffective and poor teachers. They should be gotton rid of as quickly as possible. But the reality is that it only happens when administration is willing to do what the contract spells out for dismissal.

I think part of the problem Jim is that most of the administrators are from the teaching ranks. They don't see themselves as administrators but teachers.
