Corky,

Can you share the link to the video you heard them talking on? Bringing guns and killing into this is mental IMO, you must be a really bored man.

Nobody has the right to physically attack another person but he did have the right to defend himself after being attacked. I’m not doing any research just watched the video Pat linked that didn’t have sound. Does anyone know the details and if he was arrested?

That said he dominated the situation physically and should have walked away not punching her and a piss poor judgment call.

A defense instructor I’ve been shooting with for a few years focuses his one on one classes based on armed FL carry and teaches what’s called the Four S’s of escalation, Shout-Shove-Show-Shoot and the point is you are allowed to react one level higher at a time as long as you aren’t the aggressor starting the confrontation. His background is an Army Ranger sniper deployed several times that shoots with a longtime buddy that’s a lieutenant now and commander of his SWAT team also a sniper at a major department here. The Four S’s is a FL carry modified version of his combat training on the rules of engagement they had to follow.

There is no sound Don, just another Corky lie.
I read that Mixon made a homosexual slur to her friend and she jumped in his schit. He left.

The University of Oklahoma's treatment of the thug football player is consistent with their long history of protecting thugs, if they can play football. That has been their trademark.

1. Note that good old Neutral chose not to attempt to deny the facts I posted.

2. No, I would not want him shot. I do believe he should have spent some jail time and permanently suspended from playing football for any college or university.

I don't know where Corky is coming from with that projection crap. No gun was involved and now he wants to have us shooting someone.
I really think Cork has some serious issues that appear to be worsening.

One of the schools star football players is seen punching out a female in a public eatery. After the university president, AD and coaches talked it over, the thug was suspended for as year and then this is where it gets ugly. he was allowed to play in his Junio and Senior year.

Not entirely true Pat. He was arrested, entered an Alford Plea, which allows him to maintain his innocence while acknowledging that enough evidence exists for a jury to find him guilty. Mixon was given a one-year deferred sentence, 100 hours of community service and cognitive behavior counseling He did his sentence. Now the girl who racially slurred him several times and then pushed him and then hit him before he hit her back has sued him for damages. We shall see how the trial goes.

Here is what his attorney has to say:

  • Mixon is raising a number of defenses to her remaining claim — intentional infliction of emotional distress. His attorneys assert, for instance, that Molitor "by her conduct contributed in whole or in part to any claimed loss or injuries."

Molitor "repeatedly instigated hostile conversations" with Mixon and his companions outside the cafe's front door, his attorneys wrote in an answer to the lawsuit.

Once inside, Molitor motioned to Mixon to approach her at the table where she was standing and she then "initiated further discussion" with him, his attorneys wrote in the answer filed Tuesday. Mixon overheard Molitor saying he and other black men were trying to jump her outside, the attorneys wrote.

Mixon also heard Molitor "and/or" members of her party use racial slurs in referring to him, his attorneys wrote.

Mixon "states he turned and attempted to leave the discussion and restaurant, but ... just as he did so, plaintiff lunged toward him and shoved him in the chest," his attorneys wrote.

Mixon "states that he then made an aggressive gesture toward Plaintiff in response and verbally warned her to leave him alone."

He states that she then placed her left hand on his chest and, with her right hand, struck him in the face, the attorneys wrote.

You might want to know that her attorneys have had the tapes for some time and did not want them released to the public even wanting to argue to a Cleveland County judge that the video of the punch should not be released.

The above is from the local paper.

The only decision made by the University was to allow him to play after he had served his sentence and to make sure he toes the line while still attending school. What is wrong with allowing a young man to play football after he had paid the price given to him by a judge? He will have a record for the rest of his life.
