Brew again just will not admit he was wrong. LOL
I posted the truth, Neut. I apologize if my links contained big words - I don't think the authors were aware that you'd be trying to read their stuff...

Neut, you are the liar.

I said I would quit insulting you as soon a you showed signs that you would also stop.

I have seen no such effort. But I have seen that you are simple.

When you're ready to become a civilized, adult Human Being, let me know, and I'll treat you as an adult until you prove you not deserving of that treatment. My guess is you'll last less than 5 minutes.

Please surprise me. Please prove me wrong.

You are a real piece of work Brew. I didn't think you would keep your word but I thought you would last longer than a minute.

I gave no such word to you, and you know it. Quit playing games and grow up.

And let me know when you're ready, so I can do the same.

You lied, period. I will make no deals with you. You will never stop insulting anyway. You broke your word to Berton yesterday.

I have lots of friends ion Europe and the UK and they have mixed reactions. They all agree though that the EU is not what they were sold when the UK joined. And they don't want to be part of the United confederation ruled by non Brits in Brussels.

As far as the economic impact? The UK as with Europe in general is in a recession, Brexit has not been finalized as the UK must negotiate the exit with Brussels.

Oh, and you don't get re-votes simply because you wish you had voted differently. That's not how it works. Scotland? They want to be divorced from England and so do the Irish, so this is simply an excuse to do so.

It is stupid to think they would want to re-vote this soon. Brew, etal predicted and immediate depression, that is not happening.

That is a point at least with the Irish. I know one of my relatives who spends winters in Spain and voted Brexit is now realizing, the cheap vacations may be over. That brings be up the subject of Gibraltar , nothing much stopping Spain going after it now.

Basically I agree with everything you said Pat, except one line:

The Referendum was, from the very beginning, set up to be Non-Binding. While admittedly it might be politically difficult to overturn it, there is no legal reason it could not be done. In theory, there doesn't even need to be a re-vote. Parliament could just throw it out and forget it ever happened.
