Update on selling our home

Our house sold in less than a week. We actually had three bidders and got our asking price. The low interest rates appear to be boosting sales here big time. Property appraisers and some of the trades are back logged up to 45 days. We close on our new home and the present one two weeks from today. We have a piano to move but I haven't been able to line anyone up to move it. The new house is off the lake in a great nearby community with all amenities. Importantly, the new house is relatively maintenance free.

Ten or 15 minutes with a chain saw would solve the problem. For this move, and the next!

Good luck on keeping the sheriffs from taking your new house away.

House on the lake. Sounds great. No you don't really have a need to use that 5er. I have only 45K on my MH in 14 years. I haven't seen anyplace that I enjoy a week and a day more than staying in my back yard. Watch the sun rise (or sunset) on the lake and enjoy while you can. You've earned it. Enjoy.

I now understand why so many pianos sell so cheaply or free. A piano mover quoted me $900 to move it three miles. Four hour minimum four guys and the truck.I tried picking it up and pulled Mc Groin. We are going to see if the buyer wants it. The wife wants a new baby grand. Oh yes!

Actually we are moving off the lake. We sold our boats etc and giving it up after nearly fourth years. Thanks. The fiver we love. We may try to squeeze in a trip to the (gasp) Maritimes yet this fall, then south for the winter.
