I thought you said you were in LA Beddows? Another lie? That fire is around Cajon Pass, a long way from LA. |

In the bay area now. Saw a TV on the way, saw helicopters filling from the 2 lakes in the RV Park I left (mountain lakes in Lytle).Still rigs there and the flames were 1/4 mile away. This morning it was over the ridge. I 15 was closed northbound, so no choice but to cut over to I 5 through Pasadena. Tons of traffic. One thing for sure Brewster is right. 80,000 evacuated today, 90,000 in Ft McMurray, canada last month both to wildfires,. Floods in louisiana & Texas. All 4 one in a 1000 year events. Anyone who thinks climate change is a scam, needs their head examined. Edited by Fulltimer, Aug 18 2016, 01:12 PM.

I am glad you are safe. Brewster himself has said that a small area like you are talking about means nothing when talking about climate change. |

Well wildfires are on the increase and this is the 15th straight month that each month has been the warmest since records have been kept. Whatever the reason, things are warming up. |

Sure they are. When man interferes with natures by not letting small fires burn off the undergrowth then what you see happening today will happen. If you believe the charts which Brewster puts up then I have a gold mine I can sell you cheap. |

Never in danger, BTW, when I left there was a ridge between me and the fire. It only took about 5 hours for it to come over and get to the edge of Lytle which I don't know if it's still there. The road south of town was not going get cut off, the fire was east & north of it. |

I am glad to hear it. I never want anyone to get harmed no matter how nasty they are to me. |

You have a point there. Underbrush does build up. Also in the NW and northern Canada I guess pine beetle damge is a factor. Lots of brown forests from those. Mind you they are a problem because cold winters are no longer happening. |

Not trying to be nasty to you, you are certainly more pleasant than neutral. |
