There is a majority scientific consensus, and overwhelming evidence. In science there is always a certain elements of doubt. It's not like a religion where no doubt is tolerated.

You obviously have little concept of what science and the scientific method is. As an example newtonian physics is generally accepted and it works in the common world. The fact there is relativity and quantum mechanics does not mean that if you jump off a skyscraper you won't go splat at 9.8 meters per second squared.

From what I've seen of you so far, I urge you to test it out, LOL.

Telcoman is getting to be quite a lap dog isn't he. When Brewster gets whipped in rides Paul to the rescue. Only all he did is make a fool of himself like he usually does. It must be frustrating to not be able to change our posts or ban us for no reason other than he disagrees with us.

If you are from LA as you say, that would be 32 feet per second squared.

Looks like Telcoman is :busted: again.

Good catch Thumper.

Again, so it sinks in. I don't think it is wise to have so much of one's belief system tied to a hypothesis that has huge holes in it. and at the same ignore nature and the natural cycles of the sun. An Ice age is not something to take lightly.

I might, but as anyone who has ever taken university level physics knows (I have), you use the metric system in physics equations such as terminal acceleration which is what 9.8 meters per second squared represents. In fact I am pretty certain that was the case back in grade 11 and 12 physics. I am fairly certain neutral never made it past grade 8. You strike me as better educated, at least you know how to convert meters into feet.

I suppose I should have spelt it in the Canadian way as metres to get them really talking.

I am not sure how much the sun has to do with it. We are in a solar minimum right now and the planet is warming. I think, although i am not sure, that Ice ages are more due to orbital variations.

Shaking my head. You are not a scientist, give it a rest.
