Did you attend private or public K-12 schools?

Why are you curious?
I am human. I do not have to have an ulterior motive to be curious. Do you?

I'm not curious about where people went to school.

I am wondering why we haven't heard from the right wingers.

Since you had a poll and people can show there where they went to school with out having to make a post, how do you know you had not heard from the right wingers?

Sorry, have we heard from you?

We went to private schools, our children the same, and the same for the grand kids. There was no K for me.

Yes, I voted. Perhaps you need to think a bit before making such accusations.

Brooklyn Tech
Hey, my brother graduated from Tech in '59, I think.
A few years ahead of me. I went to Tech in 1960 for my freshman year. It was interesting to find out the school has gone co-ed some years back. It was just an all male school back in those days - 6,000 boys.
I too took the exam to go to Tech but received conflicting result info afterward. Finally, we determined that I may have passed the exam but my grade school Principal gave me a poor recommendation due to disciplinary issues. So, some well off relatives offered to send me to prep school and I accepted. My three brothers and I attended four different high schools.
I passed the test for Bronx High School of Science, but it was a long trip from Jackson Heights in Queens. I could pick up the GG local at 74th and Roosevelt and take that down to Fulton St. (If I recall correctly.) which was a block from the school. It was about 30 minutes on the subway vs. more than an hour to Bronx. Anything beat going to the local high school - Newtown.

My local H.S. was Tottenville on the south-western tip of Staten Island. Instead I commuted two hours each way to mid-Manhattan and back each day. My brother had had a similar commute. So, it didn't seem so weird to me at the time. Since I was active in athletics, I usually didn't get home until 7 pm.

Today the kids want mommy or daddy to deliver them either to the bus stop or school. How times have changed.

I read where a young lady that had a bad review in her first job had her parents come in and talk to her boss. In the real world, every player doesn't get a trophy.
