I am glad to see that you agree that the progressive agenda needs to be obstructed. After all what the Republicans are doing is what their constituents want. |

No, they are doing what they want under the guise of mislabeled bill. Ask the public if they approve of all the nonsensical riders on that misbegotten bill. Then come back and we will talk, Or better yet, just write down those amendments here and we will discuss them. You with rightious indignation, me trying to suppress the gag reflex. |

I see, so in your tiny progressive mind, when the Dems obstruct that is good but when the Republicans do what their constituents want that is bad. That is one sick little mind you have there. |

Not at all. It depends on what is being "obstructed" and why and how. I am all for getting money for the mosquito thing, howeve if the republicans are going to load the bill down with partisan amendments and strip the money from other needed projects I then must say, "To hell with them" and let them stand or fall on what they have done. I am sure, once the public understands what has taken place, they will get their due. The same thing goes for their annual inability to get a budget done while threatening a shutdown. Let them present their case to the public and shut the damn place down. Once again, I am quite content with letting the public to judge the majority's actions and give them their due. The last time that happened was in the Clinton administration. It didn't go well.....or did, dependingon your point of view. |

Again, you say that the will of the people means nothing if it does not comply with progressive ideals. I understand that you do not favor democracy. |

I am all for the will of the people. If the Republicans are also they can publish what is in this law and let the people have their say in public approval . They will never do that. Too much fraud and deceit in this bill. |
