Too bad that world markets did not agree with you!

What is the market telling you today Sea Dog?

Apparently much more than it is telling you!

I didn't think you would have the intellectual honesty to answer the question.

Turn in your wine bottles, buy gold.
That way you will be protected from whatever happens!

The conservative, Right, PM of Britain, who was against leaving the EU, said today that there will be no Rebrexit, that the people of Britain have spoken in a fair democratic election, that he will honor their decision. Why can't this forum's "progressive" Canadians live with it, instead of projecting their distant disagreement and frustration onto others? It's not their country. Why do they feel that they know what's best for the Brits. Perhaps, since these Canadians feel so strongly about the EU, and against half of U.S. voters, Canada should consider joining the EU for their own benefit and security?
The Brits were sucked in by right wing fear mongering.
The same thing could well happen in your country.

When the sun rose and the people of Britain realized
that they had screwed up, of course they wanted a do-over.

You are apparently too unaware to realize
that the world markets and financiers are reeling from shock.

No sane person expected the result of the vote!

Thank God! It appears that the long, grueling decline of the "world markets and financiers" resulting from Brexit has finally, FINALLY, made the turn. No more "reeling from shock," investors are again putting their faith back into making money and wealth:

Global Markets Rise as Brexit Worries Ease
"Some relief as fears U.K. vote could disrupt the world economy recede

How long did that take?
Do you suppose market easing may just have a bit to do not with what might happen but what has happened? In short the results of Brexit will be taking place over a long period of time and have yet to happen.

Panic eases to be replaced at another, more appropriate time. That doesn't remove the waterfall from the river.

I apologize to Neutral and Jim Miller. I used to think it was in poor taste to tell Seamutt to wipe the snot off our windows and stay the hell out of our country. You guys had it right with him. Screw the ignorant fisherman.

Brexit was used by the short sellers as an excuse to send the market down. I just took a sizable CD and converted it to stock.

Why don't you just say you prefer a totalitarian approach?

From whence did you get that piece of false ultra-right wing rhetoric, Pat?
