Why don't you comment on the subject Colo.
You are trying again to crawdaddy someone.
I am just following you lead Newt. I am tired of your constantly replacing substance with insults and ignorance in order to “Neutralize” discussions.

The low voltage I have delt with in rv parks was nowhere 83 volts. You won't get anything other than a dim glow from a light bulb at 83 volts. Hence 83 volts would be a classic brown out. Power is volts times amps. As the volts go down, the current must go up. Fries electrical components and trips breakers.

Why does Corky's neighbors have electricity? We would hear about it if they didn't.
I think we are speaking of two different things too. I'm saying Corky has more than 83 volts coming in.

Isn't the big question why the power grid in CA has not been updated to handle the load?

83 volts RMS, the cheap meters will see about 103 volts.

The electric company is responsibly for the upgrade, even have collected money to do it, but have done stock buybacks instead, about 20%. Money in escrow was borrowed to fund the buy backs is the rumor.
