Those were rhetorical questions. Since knives and guns are not designed to kill they should not be used in profiling terrorists. Possession of weapons designed to kill should be the first element in any profiling to avoid terrorist attacks.

What ever happened to the Obama's and the left's liberal values of wealth distribution to aid the less fortunate? Why the inconsistency?

What inconsistency. Explain.

Pat,
Who decides how much money from the federal government goes to a state? Several states get many dollars more from the feds than they put in, isn't that a loss? What business would support and maintain a money losing branch year after year? Some new business model?

:smoker:
I don't know the answer Corky. I do know that Washington state and Nevada taxpayers pay out far more in federal taxes than they receive in federal programs. In fact, i believe the Western states all share in that distinction.
I don't think so. In fact you might say the bulk of the red States prefer socialism.

Money recieved for every one dollar of taxes paid
Of the twenty worst states, 16 are either Republican dominated or conservative states. Let's go through the top twenty.

Not a single Western state on your list, some mountain west states. Neither Washington or Nevada as I stated. If you are going to be a contrarian, then I suggest you learn to read and research better.

Wealth transfers and giveaways, maybe we need to find breakdowns of where all this money is going. How many people benefit, how much is wasted?

Building roads to nowhere?

Just the food for fuel program alone lines the pockets of many small states while committing an atrocity!

Doesn't it tell you something? A serious question : Why would republican/conservative states have america’s highest poverty rates.

If conservatism is so great, then why are the most conservative states and countries also the poorest and least educated?

Neither do they ask why , for the most part, the red states are more "socialist" as they recieve a great deal more money back from the feds than they pay in.

And just look at all those southern, "states rights" states. The hypocricy is astounding.
