Now fast forward to spring of 2016. Remember all those things Trump promised? You know like promising to "take care of everyone? That was then then, this is then.

During the debate, Sen. Ted Cruz asked Trump a direct question: "Donald, true or false, you've said the government should pay for everyone's healthcare?"

On "60 Minutes" last September, the following exchange ensued (bold emphasis is mine):

I believe it was in Texas Blue Cross has asked for a 60% increase next year.
Remember when Obi said he would save families $2500 a year?
Remember when we told libs on this forum that was a lie?

Along the way pre existing conditions were also trashed

Trump leaves out pre-existing coverage in his 7-point plan, although in the past, he and Cruz have argued that instead of putting everybody into the same pool and requiring insurers to charge all members the same rates regardless of their afflictions, the sickest people could instead join high-risk pools. This would keep these highest-cost individuals from driving up the costs for everybody else, but could it work?

Over the course of these postings we have seen that if Der Donald lacks anything it is consistency and an abilty to make concrete proposals that would support his somewhat extravagant and ever changing pie in the sky proposals.

He even lacks the ability to acknowledge the things he has said, on the record, when he comes to proposing something entirely different.

Some people would call this simply the changing of positions. Others would call it a lack of honesty.

I call it serial lying.

Since we have seen nothing to rebutt the arguments and published links presented I will have to conclude that there i s nothing of substance the right can say about this matter.

Resolved: Der Donald is a bloviating windbag on the subject of national healthcare,
