Obama: Memory of of Hiroshima Bombing "Must Never Fade"

I remember it. Obama wasn't born yet. War is a hell of a thing. As I recall, it was Japan who initiated it with the U.S. at Pearl Harbor. It was Japan that was not going to surrender when it was obvious all was lost.

Hiroshima memory must never fade Obama says on historic visit from the BBC

Visit to offer condolences, "not apology," but condolences.

Actually, the Japanese, before Pearl Harbor, late in the 1930s committed terrible war crimes. They killed (murdered) more people by far than those killed at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Hopefully, they have expessed "condolences" for those atrocities:

Japanese War Crimes

Rummel’s estimate of 6-million to 10-million dead between 1937 (the Rape of Nanjing) and 1945, may be roughly corollary to the time-frame of the Nazi Holocaust, but it falls far short of the actual numbers killed by the Japanese war machine. If you add, say, 2-million Koreans, 2-million Manchurians, Chinese, Russians, many East European Jews (both Sephardic and Ashkenazi), and others killed by Japan between 1895 and 1937 (conservative figures), the total of Japanese victims is more like 10-million to 14-million. Of these, I would suggest that between 6-million and 8-million were ethnic Chinese, regardless of where they were resident.

Nanking Massacre

In 1937-38, various estimates of the Nanking massacre alone are as high as 300,000 dead, higher than at Hiroshima and Nagasaki totals. The atrocities by the Japanese before Pearl Harbor were horrendous. Japan was not the Japan of today. They were ruthless and were not prone to surrender. Millions more Americans and Japanese would have been killed if Truman didn't make the decision he did. It was Japan who attacked the U.S. Why the condolences?

We did the right think and screw Obi and anyone else that thinks differently. The only apology we will never hear is to the people of this country for his last eight years.

It is always the same. We complain of the atrocities of others thereby making it alright, even moral, if we practice the same.
Military? Hell it extends all the way down into our political campaigns. i

We make excuses for pedophile congressman, whore chasing congressmen, college presidents that ignore sexual predation, not to mention everything from brutal cops to common crooks

We are a a sick effing group!

Ban, you have just lost your right to complain of the atrocities of others.
