Bald and Golden Eagles

Not all bird species are equally vulnerable to wind turbines. Eagles appear to be particularly susceptible. Large numbers of golden eagles have been killed by wind turbines in the western states. However, bald eagles have also been killed, although not in the numbers seen in the West. The Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act (Eagle Act) prohibits the take, possession, sale, offer to sell, purchase or barter, transport, export or import, of any bald or golden eagle, alive or dead, including any part, nest or egg, unless allowed by permit.

Wind facility operators can obtain a permit from the Service for the “take” of eagles that may occur while operating their facility. Go here to find out more about compliance with the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.

Why should they get to "take" eagles when other industries can not without penalty?

they seem to know a hell of a lot about bats and "raptors" and birds in general. Eagles? Not so much.

There is not single hard number in that article about eagles here
https://www.fws.gov/midwest/wind/wildlifeimpacts/index.html

nor here, unless you think this is "hard" . This adds up to 2,900 dead “goldies” since it was built 25 years ago". Altamont is the biggest sinkhole for the ...........

Ignore the facts and come up with stupid BS guys, eagles are being killed along with other birds. To deny a windmill would not kill birds is dumb.
The linked article in tlhe OP simply DOES NOT SAY THAT.

So then you're not denying a windmill would not kill birds, Neut?

Nice to hear you're agreeing that a windmill would not kill birds - a big step forward - that's further than I would go - a truly important step for you - I'm impressed.

Posting ignorance and changing words won't save the eagles either.
I have a solution, build a large net to put around the ugly ass windmills. What the hell, the taxpayers have plenty of money to spend.

I would be interested to read if AHYONE can find something in the op-ed piece in the OP that specifically says Bald and Golden Eagles have been or will bald killed by windmills.

Since not even one anti-windmill members of this forum have said they either have or will provide public testimony on this proposal, I can only conclude they are pulling aa Trump.

Nothing from the OP, Newt? Some find it better to make thing up rather than provide real evidence to support their positions.

Must be a right wing thing.
