You said Trump was encouraging it, how is that?

"You have, probably, North Korea has them. I mean, they don’t have delivery yet, but you know, probably, I mean to me, that’s a big problem. And, would I rather have North Korea have them with Japan sitting there having them also? You may very well be better off if that’s the case."

From the O.P.

He made a statement, hardly encouraging as you suggest.

Hardly discouraging proliferation!

You might want to look for a good place to dig a hole to hide in. Want to bet that Trump has a well equipped shelter system or two?

So you have no proof, just your opinion. As I thought.

The way to a safer and more peaceful world?

How safe would the world be with everybody holding a nuc?

The only thing that will stop a bad guy with a nuke is a good guy with a nuke.

It appears that nuke anti-proliferation is as anti-gun proliferation is. Stop the "good guys" from having nukes and the "bad guys" keep (or develop) theirs.

It'd be great if there were no nukes anywhere. But, well, it's like I said. The bad guys are going to keep theirs. The only difference between the "nuke bad guys" and the "gun bad guys" is, the nuke bad guys say that they are going to cut back/give them up, or not develop them, while the "gun bad guys" just don't say anything either way. Sort of "don't ask, don't tell."
:tiphat:

Well said and I agree.
