It is being questioned in the news this morning that Obama's reaction (his "coolness") to the Brussels terrorist bombings may be by "design." It was reported that after the 9/11 terrorist attacks in the U.S., when 3000 innocents were killed, that some in the EU said that the U.S brought it on themselves by supporting Israel. Europe's never being big supporters of Israel since it's formation is well known throughout the world. Shouldn't that be worth points against being attacked by Islamic terrorists? But there was a "coolness" reaction in Europe (and elsewhere) over the Islamic terrorist attacks after 9/11. So, this has brought about some speculation that because of that, Obama has shown similar "coolness" after both the Paris Islamic terrorist killings and the bombings in Brussels. To the "demonstrations of unity" in Paris after the killings, Obama sent the Ambassador to France as our representative; and, after the Brussels bombings, he attended a baseball game with Raul and then flew to Argentina. A few words given publically, yes but nothing demonstrative. So, is he returning the coolness shown by Europe after 9/11 and the blaming it on our support for Israel, or is it just his inborn coolness? I mean, he wasn't president during 9/11 and he has never appeared to be a fan of Israel. So why, the coolness toward the E.U.'s Islamic terrorist incidents. Back to the EU. To what is the EU attributing their own Islamic terrorist attacks. It's not because they have been supporters of Israel. And, it not because they have not allowed Muslims into their countries in mass. Is it because they are friendly toward the U.S., a supporter of Israel? Well, I probably should not emphasize "friendly" so much as dependent on the U.S. for military support against any and all enemies via the NATO agreement. There is another thought, NATO. Is Obama being cool towards the EU's Islamic terrorist problems because the EU (and other) NATO nations haven't been contributing their fair share of committed support to what NATO was originally designed to do? Or, is it that he doesn't give a rat a$$ one way or the other? Either way, the EU has to come up with some other reason for the attacks there other than "supporting Israel." The Libs believe with their forgiveness, love and compassion, bomb shrapnel will merely bounce off them. |
