The well is so poisoned, and the very fact that Obama appointed two partisan left justices should be the basis for understanding whether the senate this year will take up the nomination of Scalia's successor.

From what i read, the guy Obama selected in not as friend of the 2nd amendment. That alone would probably stop his nomination, were this an off election year.

Rubio is out. He never got the traction needed. I heard a guy on TV last night that claims a Trump candidacy will pick up a net plus on the senate side due to the number of crossover votes he attracts.
Sure hope they make up for the women. Over 50% of them say he sucks!

That is a real oddity too since polls for the last several years show the even NRA members favor stricter goun controls.
