Obama has set back racial tensions by decades getting personally involved with local issues starting with the Trayvon Martin case and people have been attacked and killed including LE simply for being white because of Obama IMO.
Just how involved did the President get in the Trayvon Martin case? Which people, when and how have they been attacked "simply for being white because of Obama"? Who's LE?

1) With the Black Lives Matter movement that has started since Obama, why is the truth never explained or understood that most of the deaths are from blacks killing blacks?

Please correct me if I'm wrong but wasn't the "Black Lives Matter movement" reaction to too many black people being shot and killed unnecessarily by police officers? I'd guess that some of those officers may have been black but the vast majority weren't.

2) How would an elderly Canadian that doesn’t live and work in America even get a clue to what they’re talking about?

Possibly by having been born and raised in the U.S., visiting it for extended periods and by reading.

Now there is one of the most race filled posts we have seen on this board in a long time.

Please tell us in what way it was "one of the most race filled posts we have seen on this board in a long time"?

Please inform me. I have no recollection of the President saying anything inappropriate.

Then you should get informed before commenting. We talked about it on this forum for days, it was in the news for weeks.
Hint:"if I had a son he would look just like Trayvon"

Yes, the President made that statement. I found nothing wrong with it.

And it was quite likely true.

My sons both look a lot like me - are all the people who mention it to me racists too?

Neut, you're wasting your time. You're arguing with Canadian arrogant hypocrisy.

Canada's Race Problem? It's even worse than America's.

For a country so self-satisfied with its image of progressive tolerance, how is this not a national crisis?

I'm guessing that if the Canadian elite ignore it, it ain't there. In Canada it appears that it's not so much a case of a "resurgence of old-fashioned racism" as it is a case of an "old-fashioned racism" situation that's never left.

Ferguson, Trayvon Martin
Just a couple of quick ones.
Did President Obama cause either of those events?
Of course not. The allegation is made strictly by right wing propagandists and the followers of such.

Has There Been a Resurgence of Old-Fashioned Racism in the U.S.?

This comes from a some what academic article in Slate.

Quote:

“The election of the country’s first black president had the ironic upshot of opening the door for old-fashioned racism to influence partisan preferences after it was long thought to be a spent force in American politics,” wrote Brown University political scientist Michael Tesler in a 2013 paper titled “The Return of Old Fashioned Racism to White Americans’ Partisan Preferences in the Early Obama Era. For Tesler, “old-fashioned racism” isn’t a rhetorical term; it refers to specific beliefs about the biological and cultural inferiority of black Americans. His work suggests that there are some white Americans who, in his words, have “concerns about the leadership of a president from a racial group whom they consider to be intellectually and socially inferior.”

Other research points to the degree to which Obama’s election seems to have exacerbated racial animus among white voters. In a paper titled “The Impact of Anti-Black Racism on Approval of Barack Obama’s Job Performance and on Voting in the 2012 Presidential Election,” a trio of researchers found a substantial increase in the number of voters with anti-black attitudes, which rose from 47.6 percent in 2008 to 50.9 percent in 2012. “The proportion of people expressing anti-Black attitudes,” they write, “was 32 percent among Democrats, 48 percent among independents, and 79 percent among Republicans.”
How Trump Happened
In my opinion, every human being is a racist to a degree.

I honestly thought it was racist for the democrats to choose Obama over much high qualified candidates for office, based on his race. At the time I was unaware of his true agenda, which saddens me to this day.
