It seems to be to be a rather well thought out and responsible reply as opposed to your childish name calling and insults.

You wouldn't know well thought out and responsible if it bit you on your ass.

Not many paid much attention to Tony Blankely's book in 2005:

The West’s Last Chance: Will We Win the Clash of Civilizations?

The class of civilizations is becoming more and more evident in Europe.

Or, Mark Steyn's book in 2006: (Mark Steyn was a guest on one of the networks this morning ... CNN or Fox)

America Alone, forecasting the downfall of Western civilization owing to internal weaknesses and the increasing Muslim population in Western countries and the world generally.

Steyn, today, was saying that the growing Islamic populations in the EU are Muslims, while not active jihadists, are not "nationalistic" citizens of the nation that has welcomed them, but are of a "civilization" tied to Islam.

In the U.S. and Canada, political correctness will be one Achilles heel of western civilization in North America.... as in Europe.

Can't help but notice that MR is becoming much more hostile in the wording of his posts lately. I suppose it can be frustrating for those who demand that others think the way they do ... but don't. If he was coach of the forum football team he could have the team boycott Fire and Ice and/or force Pat to resign.

I find it humorous that a few years back, no one on the right
had a good thing to say about France.

Calling for boycotts of anything deemed French,
Remember Freedom Fries?

Now there is handwringing and crocodile tears
over the deaths of thirty people in Paris.

Never a mention of the thousands shot in Chicago each year.

Have the citizens of France suddenly become more important
than the citizens of America?

If so, why?

Never a mention of the thousands shot in Chicago each year.

Those on the right mention it all the time. It's Obama and the left who concentrates on the likes of Ferguson and Michael Brown or Travon Martin, who Obama said that if he had a son, would look like Travon. Apparently Tyshawn Lee or none of the many young black teenagers shot by other blacks in Chicago would look enough like Obama's son for him (or the left media) to make mention of it. I mean, Chicago was the community where the "community organizer" did his work.

I think we should applaud the French government, we are into the second day and they have not surrendered. On to a serious note, I feel sorry for the families who lost loved ones and would advice them to push for open and concealed carry gun laws and more access to guns in general. The victims were siting ducks as the armed terrorists reloaded time after time. And I wonder why in cases like that that the audience doesn't charge and overpower the gunmen. 1,500/3 odds are pretty good. Sitting and getting mowed down is cowardly.
