It seems they are denying the evidence supplied on the birth certificate form requirements. It's a valid argument given the sophistication of document forgers.

The Constitution is crystal clear. If you are born in the USA you are a citizen. It doesn't matter where the child's parents were born. Texas will, as usual, spend a lot of taxpayer's dollars then lose in court.

Did anyone here have to prove their citizenship to obtain a birth certificate for their child? I know that I didn't.
