From the University of Missouri, the activist activity is spreading across the land.... almost as if by design. Freedom of speech is to be limited... or else.
So you would curtail the activists freedom of speech because you don't like it.
Isn't that what the activists students and football team are doing?
How have they done that?

They threatened to boycott a football game and forced the president of the university to resign.... because they didn't like what some students did and said and used tactics to stop those others from expressing their opinions .... from what the news is making public.

I expressed my opinion in Post #6

Boycotts are as American as apple pie. It's one way for people to protest what they see as injustices. They used the power they had to change things. What's wrong with that? When did they not allow others to express their opinions?

But did you read my #6 post. Boycotts are fine. But the school has a right (and obligation) to uphold it's policies and express itself as well by indicating that for those not living up to their signed scholarship agreements that those scholarships may be cancelled..... The school, other students, other faculty, alumni, public... all have a right to express their opinions and take any action they feel necessary within the law.... as with disagreeing alumni have a right to express their intention and threatening to withhold any contribution to athletic, student scholarship aid or financial support to the university. The president resigning won't stop other students from expressing their opinions and protesting against the protestors.

These students their pet professor recently demonstrated that they only believe in free speech for themselves. They declared the area that they were occupying a "no-go" press zone. The "professor" called for "muscle" to remove a student paper reporter.

Either free speech is for everyone or it's for no one.
