From the University of Missouri, the activist activity is spreading across the land.... almost as if by design. Freedom of speech is to be limited... or else.

So you would curtail the activists freedom of speech because you don't like it.

The racists rise again under the cover of free speech for themselves and not so much for others.

Is that what I wrote? No, that's not what I wrote. That's your inaccurate description of what I wrote.

No, let them speak their mind. And let others speak their mind. Freedom of speech. To bad if they don't all agree. If you don't like Jews, say you don't like Jews. If you don't like policies, say you don't like policies. But don't prevent or deprive anyone from saying it. If the football team wants to boycott a game in demonstration of what they think is right or wrong, but it's against school policy, let them. If it's against school policy and the school suspends their scholarship for breaking school policy, let them. If a student wants to demonstrate and speak out publically, let them. If it disrupts the rights of other students and if disrupting the right of other students is against school policy, let the school take action against the "disruptors" according to school policy. It's not a one way street.

I think you are the racist Stoned. And an ignorant assumptionist. Saying that is right to "freedom of speech" and a retort to your accusation. Even Steven.

Isn't that what the activists students and football team are doing?

Demonstrations have been ruled to be a part of free speech, as has money. Given a choice between the two I will take the demonstrations.

There was nothing preventing the school from suspending the athletes, except greed, which seems to trump principle every time.

I agree with that. Actions have consequences. The school administration should also recognize that fact.
