You will like it this way until the tables turn and you are on the losing end of the redistricting battles. It will happen as it always does. Intelligent people would like gerrymandering to stop regardless of which party is doing it. That let's you out.

Not if it is more people who are tired of the Washington establishment who are coming out to vote. In the last two elections the conservatives stayed home because they didn't have a good person to vote for. This time it will be the liberals who will stay home. All they have is a old white women who is a socialist.

In the last mid terms democratic candidates received more than 20 MILLION more votes than the republican candidates yet they still have a majority in congress.

Welcome to our DEMOCRACY. (oops, I mean undemocratic republic)
Are you aware that we are a republic made up of 50 separate and distinct states. And that the electoral college helps keep it that way? The federal government operates in a 10 mile by 10 mile region named Washington DC. They have facilities in states at the invitation of the states and hold in trust and manage public lands in public territory within the borders of states. We are not a pure democracy where the tyranny of a majority would wreck havoc.

I know exactly how it works and labeling us a democracy is untruthful. The majority does not rule here.

Bills can be passed in the senate by senators representing fewer than 30% population.

A democracy we ain't.

There is not and never has been a true democracy, not even the Greek city states so you can burn down that straw man.

Then quit whining about it. We are a representative Republic which has done quite well until the socialist have tried to change the system.

Why don't you stop calling us a democracy when we are not?

Why you continue to say the end of the GOP is coming without acknowledging the GOP just won lots of elections.
Try making some sense with the facts.
Fine, we will see. The more people that vote, the harder it will be for them. If that were not the case they would not be busy suppressing votes under the guise of rampant fraud while not ever bringing fraud cases to trial.
You don't get it, deadbeats talk a line but don't show up at the polls. They are too lazy, a trait that led to them being worthless deadbeats.
They do in presidential years.
